Pitino's whores (1 Viewer)

I am sure he knows. And I would bet it doesn't just happen at Louisville.

These athletes can probably pull plenty of good tail. I suspect they enlist the services of a pro because there is an expectation of secrecy and a paid transaction generally avoids allegations of rape which we've seen come from hookups between athletes and coeds. I would think this particular madam is putting herself out of the slut business by not hiding details about her client list.
It doesn't sound like business was that great if she was only banking $10,000 over four years.

Is Louisville a private school? I'm curious what McGee was making when this allegedly took place when he was a graduate assistant. Those guys make peanuts. I think tops is like $60K and some are in the $20K range, in football at least.

That $10K cash plus whatever he actually gave out for sex on the side was clearly coming from someone else.

Public.

Sounds more like a privates school!

None of this makes any sense. The schools keep telling us that the athletes have no individual value that is worth compensation, why would anyone want to entice them with the flesh?

From the ESPN article:

Pitino told ESPN earlier this month he has denied having any knowledge of the parties: "Not myself, not one player, not one trainer, not one assistant, not one person knew anything about any of this," the Hall of Fame coach said. "If anyone did, it would have been stopped on a dime. Not one person knew anything about it."

My Edit:

Pitino told ESPN earlier this month he has denied having any knowledge of the parties: "Not myself, not one player, not one trainer, not one assistant, not one person knew anything about any of this (I mean, yeah, I knew about the women, but I didn't think we were PAYING for them. I thought, you know, "friend of the program" kind of donation." the Hall of Fame coach said. "If anyone did, it would have been stopped on a dime ("yeah, stopped on a dime, because they were not worth more than that"). Not one person knew anything about it. (EVERYONE knew about it--it depends upon what your definition of "is" is.)"
Perhaps we can go out to Bill Clinton for some clarification on this.

this is more or less embarrassing than his tenure as the Celtics head coach?
Two Pump only took the Celtics job because of the quality of Italian restraurants and he was sure they would get the #1 pick. He gave up on Billips after a handful of games and had no clue in regards to the salary cap. He also forced Red to the sidelines. He was also an epic failure...way more embarrassing than running some hood rats for his recruits.
embarrassing or catastrophic are not synonyms. let me try this again okay? which is more embarrassing for Rick Pitino?

1) the current PR debacle; or

2) the creamsicle suit.

Espn is losing their collective #### over this story.
It's a pretty messed up story involving a HOF coach.
I hate pitino and I hate Louisville but this stuff happens at every major p-5 school. Don't try and kid yourself that it doesn't. Now I am sure he knew about it but I don't see getting a 17 year old kid laid a big deal.
If you can prove this then you can be on ESPN as well.
You believe in the easter bunny dont you?

You don't seem to be following.

Only thing noteworthy is they used actual hookers instead of slutty sorority girls.

Self-imposed postseason ban, is that really supposed to keep the NCAA away from looking into the whore house that Ricky was running?
I think it will cushion the blow especially considering they have an above average team this year.

In the end I doubt Rick can survive this. No way he didnt know.

Good, anything bad that happens to that vile pos Pitino makes me very happy. He is the biggest fraud and worm in sports. If he was such a great coach he wouldn't have run the Celtics into the ground and fleeced them for 100 mil $. Big deal, he can recruit top draft classes with hookers, who couldn't consistently win doing that?

Fraud. Try winning in the NBA.

Outside the Lines spoke briefly this month with McGee in Kansas City, where he is working as a driver for the car service Uber.

When asked where the money came from to pay for the recruiting parties, McGee responded by saying, "You can talk to my lawyer for any questions."

When asked if there was anything he wanted to say to clear his name, McGee added: "My name will be cleared. I just need you to talk to my lawyer."

McGee's Louisville-based attorney, Scott Cox, did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
To be fair, McGee never actually said his lawyer would answer the questions...

Well, it's up to the folks in charge at that fine institute.  I don't think Louisville can do better than Pitino , although I know the Papa John's money keeps them relevant, so I'm guessing they will just let this blow over.

A person inside the #Louisville athletic department tells me there's an expectation that Pitino (and likely Jurich) will be fired today.
