Pitt v SD; 11-10 (1 Viewer)

It is getting "so much play" because NFL history was made. Over 12,700 NFL games were played before someone ever got an 11-10 score.

You don't have to like it, you just have to be able to live with it.

I liked the report that I read of how it screwed Vegas. If the TD counted (which anyone could see that it should have), then PIT would have covered the spread. Instead they did not and if you took SDG and the 3.5 points then you got your $....Could a ref have had big money on the game. Apparentley someone did.

Whoever made that report doesn't understand Vegas.

ESPN reported last night that the NFL was going to make a statement about the outcome last night. I will post it if I find it, if not, could someone else please post it.

Thanx

see the ;) thread where people are claiming that it helped Vegas because the Pittsburgh betters would have won if they had covered.

Vegas made an extra $65 million. Sound fishy to anyone else?

Depends...how much money was at stake on that game?Is $65 million all that material in Vegas?

Good question. For one regular-season game, I would say yes.

I guess I mean vs. what they would have lost.I think I read something like 100 mil on that game.So a 65/35 split. So they won 65 mil, lost 35 mil (obvious approximate because there are other factors involved). For really the net "win" of 30 mil. Not even close to a huge number to be spread around all the books. That is, if my math is even close. Its been a rough morning.
