Pittman (1 Viewer)

This matchup has the makings of a major shootout. I could easily see a 36-33 game here. Pittman has received 8 out of 9 goaline rushing attempts for the Broncos. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Pittman with 2 Tds in this game. Albeit, probably on 10 carries for 30 yds, but it's still solid RB2 numbers.

In Denver's high-scoring offense, Pittman now has three scores in two games. He has averaged seven rushing attempts, 21.5 rushing yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game. He has been utilized nine times inside the red zone, including eight times inside the 5.09

I'm giving serious consideration to playing him at RB2 over Lewis.

Anyone else thinking of rolling with him, given this matchup?

I was wondering this very thing myself. I'd say if your RB corp. was decimated by injuries like mine is, he's worth a shot. For me it would come down to either Sproles or Pittman this week if I get the feeling LT won't play much. If that's the case, I'd probably lean toward Sproles.

It's basically coming down to Sammy Morris or Pittman for me this week. I think both make decent plays for matchups and/or injuries to other players.

On that offense, with so many scoring opportunities and being THE MAN down inside the 10 yd line...I could easily see Pittman with 10-12 Tds this year.

I've managed to get both Pittman and Young on my team. I'm using Kevin smith in the flex spot now. I Just wish Denver would pick 1 go to guy and be done. I'm sitting on 2 Denver RB's that I'm scared to start.

i'm considering him @ flex.. my worry is the saints did not look stout inside the 10 against the redskins. i could see selvin punching it in from the 8 or 9 and pittman left dry.

Selvin doesn't get carries inside the 10 yd line...it's Pittman. I think Selvin has had 2 carries max this year inside the 10. Pittman has had EVERYTHING else...and has been very good at it.

Would Pittman be a better start at flex then Jeriuos Norwood, Fred Taylor, Kevin Faulk, or Fred Jackson? I am in a 1 PPR league and have these guys on the bench and need to decide on one for the flex spot

just knew selvin had that one TD run against oakland so i wasn't sure.. it certainly seems like a fine play, at least in a flex spot. as my RB2 i'd be a little worried of the possible 3 point game though.

Yeah I have a good feeling Pittman will have a couple of opps inside the 5 yard line this week. I am going to start him in a td heavy league over E.Graham. VS the Saints is a great matchup

I'm considering starting him over McGahee considering the recent news coming out of Baltimore. I drafted Hall late with the hope that he would get the goal line carries. Yet, Pittman has gotten those. At some point, you have to look at what the coach does. Still, 2 games isn't enough for me to feel comfortably with locking in Pittman as the goal line RB.

If just 1 of the Denver RBs was out of the picture, we could all feel more comfortable with starting any of the remaining ones.

Gut feeling Selvin has a couple of long runs and a TD today, he looked good last week with limited touches.

Im in a dynasty. Pittman popped up in FA last week. Picked him up. Still rebuilding though. Plenty of starting QB's on my team.

Anyone else think it's bizarre that Pittman is a goal line back now? He's had several seasons with 0-2 rushing TDs.
