"Emotion is highly overrated in football. My wife Corky is emotional as hell but can't play football worth a damn." -- John McKay

I don't wish pain upon Walker or nothing of ill will; I will be glad however if they are forced to utilize the WRs for more than the start of the first and end of the fourth Qs. It has been really frustrating this year.

They can really move the football through the air during these times and ....well that's where the tanking talk has come from I'm sure.

Also, when teams are on their heels to stop the pass, Sankey does far better which is predictable but...

It's really been a major tease so I'm hopeful they lean on the WRs and this isn't Chase Coffman's night.

I've liked Mettenberger a lot. It'll be interesting to see how "the world" feels about his play after a nationally televised game.

My body's ready........for serious heartburn as I can see Bell getting Roeth'd out of TDs to Brown/Bryant/et al.

The Titans D tonight will be-

Casey busting a few plays

Williamson making some nice plays.

Griffin seeming to get 100 tackles.

25 plays where the Titans OLB are exposed as former DEs, and one play where one of them does well.

The CBs are the closest fans ever and will be "right there" but not raise a hand or swat the ball or sometimes even tackle.

Titans are going to have to score a lot to keep up

That had to the the worst out route I've seen in a long time. Pathetic.

Throw was on the terrible side as well.

Makes me feel better about cutting Hunter a month into the season. I heard he had a limited route tree and didn't run very crisp routes. I let him go mostly because he didn't seem to have the volume/efficiency that would point to an uptick.

That is literally the first route I have watched him run live (only watched him on rewind). JFC that was horrible.

On the opposite end of the crisp route spectrum, Kendal Wright.

That's about five Steelers that could have stopped Sankey there.

Tonight's Referee, Brad Allen, is in his first year in the NFL. He was going to be an Umpire but was elevated to Referee when Mike Carey retired this summer.

He's the first NFL official to start out as a Referee since Tommy Bell in 1962.

Bryant should have gone up to get that. He let it come to him. Someone needs to coach him on that.
