Planning for 2018 already (1 Viewer)

I am in a keeper league.  I currently have David Johnson on my team.  If I decide to keep him next year it will cost me an extra 25 dollars.  The guy that drafted Dalvin Cook dropped him.  Since my year is pretty much over do I drop David Johnson and pick up Cook to use as a keeper next year?

How many can you keep?  What's your budget?  What will Cook cost?  What will DJ's final cost be?

I would drop someone else and pick up Cook.  Then if you don't like DJ's cost next year, trade him, don't drop him.  Someone else might want him and be ok with his price, and you'd get something out of him by giving him up rather than just drop him for free.

Need a lot more information as wlwiles outlined.

I would have more confidence in DJ coming back to form based on the type of injury than Cook coming back to form.  Both should be fine but Cook's injury carries a lot more risk in coming back.  I agree that picking up Cook is a wise move but I wouldn't drop DJ to do it.
