Is this cause for concern??

Plaxico Burress had his back evaluated on Monday and missed practice. This is one beat up Giants team. Burress has also has missed time in camp with the flu and injuries to both ankles. When he'll return is uncertain.Source: Newark Star-Ledger

I'd be concerned, but more so about the increasing possibility of a trainwreck season for the team rather than Plax's back itself.

Of course, that doesn't mean that Eli and the passing game won't put up some fantasy points if they fall behind quite a bit.

Not good news. This has bothered Plax for a while now. Steve Smith might be playing more than expected early on - or perhaps Mix even gets a real look as he brings the height and physical play of a Plax.

Maybe just missing out on Plax and ending up with Moss as my #2 in my most recent draft wasnt such a bad thing after all.

Geez, this is getting ridiculous. When I traded for Plax in March, I told the other owner that I was worried about trading for a "knucklehead". Joe Bryant's comments in his "From the Gut II" article really sums up my feelings about Plax. He's in a situation that could be ripe for big fantasy points, but he may be too lazy to take advantage of it. Not staying in shape could come to haunt him.

In one league, my starting WRs for week 1 were going to be Holt, Plax, and Mark Clayton. All injured. Stay away from the rest of my WRs (Hackett, Holmes, Marshall) dare you challenge the curse over my team. :-)
