OK - I know many of you are out there DEEP in the middle or end of your 2010 drafts - HOW'S THAT GOING FOR YOU?
Did you get every player you wanted?
Were you able to get BOTH Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson?
Are you sure all your players are going to be healthy each and every week?
OF COURSE NOT - but now you can have the players you want, own and start both CJ and AP and be sure anyone you start is 100% healthy.
THE PLAY EM ONCE LEAGUE allows you complete and total control -- you start the players you want when you want them - OH - there is that one tine detail of PLAY EM ONCE - as in once you play CJ and AP - you CANNOT use them again at all the rest of the season.
Do you build an early points lead by play big studs early? Do you save the studs for a last minute push?
This league allows you to have multiple teams (as many as you want) for just $25 each --- TRY DIFFERENT STRATEGIES AND SEE WHAT WORKS!
I am doing it a little differently this year - the "REGULAR SEASON" will be Weeks 1-12 AND THEN for every 3 teams that enter -- one will make the "PLAYOFFS" so if we have 12 teams = 4 playoff spots / 21 teams = 7 playoff spots. These teams will be determined based on points alone - the top scorers wrap up playoff spots. AT THAT POINT - score totals will reset to zero and we will ONLY use the cumulative scores from Weeks 13-17 (yes 17) to figure out who wins money --- money will go to about 50% of the teams that make the playoffs.
We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 DT each week and the scoring is a little different - details are on the site BUT here are some highlights:
6 points per passing TD
1.5 points per recption for TE's
12 points for a shutout for the defense
Players who run back kickoff and punts for TDs get those points.
You have until gametime for players to lock them in and make roster decisions.
