player spotlights? (1 Viewer)

So, there are all these player spotlight threads over in the shark pool discussing the other side of the ball, and there's unfortunately kind of a dearth of discussion over here.

While I wouldn't suggest a similar player spotlight series over here because there're too many players and not enough traffic --- all the other threads would get scrolled off, how would you guys feel about a player spotlight group type thread where you might have, say, 'Spotlight: LB Tier One' with a subheading of a half dozen guys, or whatever?

Then people could weigh in with commentary on those guys, or other guys they feel should've been included --- also, it'd be an easy reference for people looking for specific discussion on particular guys.

You could continue at intervals with DB threads, tier 2, 3, etc, and probably hold it down to maybe fewer than 10 threads, which shouldn't be so board clogging.

What do you guys think?

The IDP spotlight series is coming. We're in the process of working out the writing schedule and the first group of spotlights should be posted for discussion soon.

There will be a limited number of spotlights, but please feel free to use this thread to post recommendations and suggestions for players to cover in either our spotlight or faceoff content.

working on the list right now.we are going to do fewer IDP spotlights this year but are hoping that will result in increased participation from the message boarders.hoping to ramp things up soon.

Some LB's off the top of my head where people could possibly be divided on their production/draft spot:

Posluszny/Tatupu/Bart Scott & Harris AND Hawk & Barnett (Combo Spotlights?)/Witherspoon/Bullock/Timmons and/or Woodley/Cooper/Crowder.....
