theres too many player spotlights on the board, why not just keep them in the pinned topic? it bumps all the other topics off the board.

they already are in the pinned section. so im saying why have them in the pinned section and cluttering the board at the same time

i agree that it would be nice not to have them taking up a ton of space on the first page......but I think the concern was that the amount of responses would go down if they just put them all in one place.....I think they are trying to take advantge of the traffic in the shark pool even tho it it a little irritating......

You do realize that if we pinned all the Player Spotlight threads that there would be no other threads on the first page of the Shark Pool? So people would have to physically move on to page 2 or page 3 to get to the everyday Shark Pool threads.

I suspect that a work around would be creating a seperate Player Spotlight forum. Not sure if that ever has been considered or not. I would guess that would generate less traffic as people would have to enter another section of the boards and might result in fewer posts and comments in the actual PS threads.

PS threads are, IMO, the best threads in the SP, with the exception of F&L's Dynasty thread. They lead to typically the most thoughtful discussion on each player, individually, throughout a time when most FF is at a slow point.

I think the Player Spotlights need to remain right here. I mean what's the point of this whole forum but to discuss players?
