Players that have history in a certain city/state, team wise or not, do you think they try harder? Should this be taken into consideration when deciding who to start? L. Washington stepped it up when he went down to Jacksonville.

The reason I'm asking is that I see L. Maroney visiting Minnesota this Monday Night and it's where he went to school. Expect a big game out of him?
