Players moving up draftboards fastest... (1 Viewer)

I see the following players in a whole different light of late - feel free to add to list:

1) FWP - could be Rd 2 material

2) Dunn - The skipper is gone and now its just the 'little buddy' - Rd 3 material

3) Gore - From Sleeper to Rd 4 overnight

4) Mike Bell - from nowhere to Rd 3/4

5) Barlow - from purgatory to Rd 8

6) Lundy - from Al Groh to...ok, not sure yet.

I agree with the above posts, with some hesitation on Morency, but I also think with so much uncertainty due to performance and injury that Manning and the consistent WR's (Holt, Harrison)may move up the board as well

Maroney has been getting drafted in the 4/5 rounds lately...people are drafting him way ahead of where he's ranked.

Looks like Culpepper has been moving up slowly -- now around QB8 with ADP in the 6th round. He should be moving up faster, IMO. Anyone using the DD has him buried unless they do their own projections. He's BACK!! (with a solid coach and supporting cast as good as he had in his best years in MIN -- and he's MOTIVATED -- watch out)

Brooks on the other hand has been moving backwards for the past 2-3 weeks due to the 1st 2 preseason games. Now his ADP is 113 (QB15). But the hit he's taken has been unwarranted IMO -- resulting in a great value pick who should significantly outperform his draft position. Other solid value picks are Favre, Brees and McNair, IMO -- see who falls the lowest -- in many drafts it's been Brooks who also offers the most upside.

The guys I've seen moving up in drafts in the last week or two are:

1) Mike Bell (preseason performance/named the starter)

2) Warrick Dunn (departure of Duckett)

3) T.J. Duckett (Portis's injury)

4) Thomas Jones (Cedric Benson fiasco)

5) Vernand Morency and Wali Lundy (Dom Davis injury situation)

6) Correll Buckhalter (preseason performance)

7) Ashley Lelie (trade)

8) Reche Caldwell (pending departure of Branch)

9) Troy Williamson (departure of Koren Robinson)

10) Daunte Culpepper (preseason performance)

11) Donovan McNabb (preseason performance)

Very realistic forecast... my draft results from tonight in bold..

Look no further than Ben Watson as the responsible party for the hole that appeared in the roof of the TE shack tonight...
Yes, Watson should easily be the leading RECEIVER on Pats team this year, Brady has been seeking him out like a heat-seeking missile 1 Was hoping to STEAL HIM in the 8th round , now thinking 6 th or 7th , right after heap and Crumpler are gone !!! :pics:

I agree, Terry Glenn should be moving up with TO's continued delay. Glenn and Bledsoe are looking in synch these past 2 weeks.

Our leauge: 10 teams, 5 keepers (mandatory to keep 5), 17 roster spots:

Deuce went 6.04 in our league (which translates to round 11)

Barlow went undrafted

What are the projections for Matt Jones, Braylon Edwards, and Michael Jenkins ???

Jones has been a fast riser on some boards...

I have been very suprised at the non-LT owners that are drafting Mike "The Burner" Turner. We did a show last night and people were all over him. LT got banged up a little last year.

LT owners better hand cuff Turner early.

I would also add Ben Watson to your list. He's been moving up lately, especially with the Branch saga combined his performance last night.

LT dynasty owner here. My first goal this offseason was to trade for Turner. I gave M. Anderson for Turner.best handcuff in the NFL.I hope he goes to another NFL team in 2007. He has the skills to be a #1 RB in the NFL

Matt Jones went from being around #40 or so a few months ago to now he will be a keeper in my league's keeper draft tonight. He is ranked between 18-27 now.
After yet another solid outing last night, Jones is probably moving into the top 15 WR's now, if not higher..he looks primed for a huge year..Maroney is moving up quickly, especially with Dillon's injury last night..BEN WATSON is no longer in the dark anymore, its time to seriously look at him as a potential breakout cadidateI'm sure Leinart has moved up, especially after last night's game..he looks extremely sharp for a guy who's been in camp only a very short time..How about Deuece McAllister?! has looked sharp so far..possibly a forgotten man with all of this Reggie Bush talk lately?Dallas defense..looks like they're going to be a TOP defensive unit in 2006..they're wicked fast, getting after the QB's, and swarming to the ball..
