Players who could be acquired at a discount right now who might push a team over the top with the help of a favorable playoff schedule:

Beanie Wells- @SF Wk 14, @ DET Wk 15, STL Wk 16

Larry Johnson/Jamaal Charles - BUF, CLE, @CIN

Darren McFadden/Michael Bush - WAS, @DEN, @CLE

Leon Washington/Shonn Greene - @TB, ATL, @IND

Julius Jones/Justin Forsett - @HOU, TB, @GB

Brian Westbrook/LeSean McCoy - @NYG, SF, DEN

And any high draft picks/good buy lows right now you might knock down in the rankings b/c of a difficult schedule:

DeAngelo Williams - @NE, MIN, @NYG

Matt Forte - GB, @BAL, MIN

I like Kurt Warner. @SF @Det STL

It depends on his owner, but I think a lot of people have dropped their opinion of him as some of the other QBs have put up early stats to move ahead of him. If his owner is now starting Roethlisberger, Schaub, Garrard, etc... it may be time to make a move for a guy who is capable of lighting it up in the last 2 weeks of the fantasy season.

Those defenses that Westy/McCoy will be facing aren't exactly cupcake matchups...but whoever is starting always has a chance to have a good game for the Eagles, no doubt. I have Larry Johnson, hoping to spot start him in the playoffs if need be, I like having him as a reserve option.

Some others to consider are all the Bengals..they play San Diego and Kansas City in weeks 15 and 16...I have Palmer, Ocho, and Benson on my team :wall:

I like Dwayne Bowe. He's a bigtime buy low right now if you think with the ease of his schedule lightening up he'll turn it around. Has a great playoff/superbowl schedule IMO. Alot of the leagues I'm in people are either giving him away through trade or literally giving him away by dumping him on the WW. Ive picked him up in all of my leagues people have given up on him completely. He's nothing more than a WR3/WR4 for me in those leagues anyway right now.

In what way are the Giants, 49ers and Broncos favorable matchups? :)

Not disagreeing with this but I think you have to get Leinart if you get Warner meaning that you need two roster spaces for this move.Talking about the Cards, Boldin may be a good bye considering his solid but unspectacular production as he works his way back from a gimpy hammy and after a week off, should be good to go.

In what way are the Giants, 49ers and Broncos favorable matchups?
:lmao: Without checking, that has to be the worst playoff run for RBs this year. That is a good reason to unload Westbrook and McCoy.

Westbrook has the advantage of catching a lot of passes so he should be in the game plan no matter what, but again, I wouldn't exactly call these matchups ones to look forward to.

I agree with this. I've said I think Benson is going to be a guy who could up some huge numbers in those 2 weeks. It sounds like Andre Smith will be ready to go by the Pittsburgh game in week 10, so he should be very much up to speed by that time and that will really help the running game.
