He ran for over 100 yards last week...LT is putting up better numbers then he ever has...why in the hell are you going to drop him for Blount!?!?!So can I get your info to join the leagues you are in next year?gary mexico said:Ran out of patience, he is gone in an hour for either blount or michael bush. This is more of a testament to the fact that there are scant few "elite" WRs and most of the top 10 is just WR1s with "Elite" upside.benbadman said:Fitz seemed like a safer pick as a WR1/2 than say Desean Jackson or Calvin Johnson. Going into the draft I realized the days of 1400-13 were over for Fitz, but he is still on pace for a decent floor of 76-832- 8td. He's not killing any of my teams with Fitz on themCompetitiveEdgeFootball said:I began countering your points regarding Fitz and other WRs, but I've decided that getting into it about this subject hijacks the thread. I'll just say this: Fitz was "projected" by "experts" to be a top 3 WR. He's going to finish somewhere in the mid to low top 12. If he's your 1st or 2nd round pick, you've lost a ton of value. His situation is dragging him down, and it wasn't terribly hard to see coming.
This is my guess, when this guy gets back to being healthy he's got to have some big games in him.Ray Rice
To me almost all of your roster includes players I had on my own personal, "No way he is on my team at his ADP." Especially your RBs. I did expect more out of Stafford and VD. Most of those guys, I had my doubts. You gotta think for yourself so more and use your head, not just print off a cheatsheet and go. Lesson learned. My post draft roster:
Matthew Stafford, Det QB
Chad Henne, Mia QB K
Ben Roethlisberger, Pit QB
Shonn Greene, NYJ RB K
Steven Jackson, StL RB
Beanie Wells, Ari RB
Laurence Maroney, Den RB
Anthony Dixon, SF RB
Michael Crabtree, SF WR K
Wes Welker, NE WR
Mike Sims-Walker, Jac WR
Steve Breaston, Ari WR
Dez Bryant, Dal WR
Vernon Davis, SF TE K
Adam Vinatieri, Ind K
Giants D/ST, NYG D/ST
Welker has been only slightly below expectation, but other than that,
this is TEAM DONE NOTHING THROUGH 4 GAMES
I am curious your thoughts on Crabtree's becoming relevant. I am trying to find a reason not to cut him and would appreciate shared thinking about his prospects for finally delivering on some of the promise he was thought to possess at the start of this season. Thanks.Micheal Crabtree
Spiller is on my leagues waiver wire. MehShonn Greene is on top of my list, Rex wants him in the game to pound the D.Spiller is a good one but I doubt you get him cheap nowColston, the guy is killing me with his WR3ish #s.... wheres the TDsBowe, I would try to get Bowe now
problem is there are like 4 TE's better than him on your waiver wire. lotta young talent at TE.David Nelson? non drafted to #4 right now (70 some yds last game) Im just listing the latest player whose caught my eye. (played w/ the Gators, Hernandez etc.)Oh and more to this Season, yeah Shonne Greene schedule is gonna pick up (worth a look)
Personally I didn't expect the season to start for Wallace until Ben got back. If u can get him cheap now is the time.Mike Wallace.Ricky Williams.
Problem with Wallace is he is so reliant on the deep ball, it's like owning Lee Evans on crack. Quite a few 2-45 or 1 for 13 days, but the big days are bonanzas and he gets 4-5 deep shots a game (and has an amazing ability to adjust for the ball and make those crazy long catches) But I agree he is undervalued right now. I just don't know if I have the stomach for watching a snowy/wet steeler game knowing that I am reliant on 4-5 'madden' deep ball plays.Personally I didn't expect the season to start for Wallace until Ben got back. I guess teams in leagues with short rosters got to do what you got to do but I would keep Greene just in case LT gets hurt running into the Williams Wall this week.gary mexico said:Ran out of patience, he is gone in an hour for either blount or michael bush. I have him in a league where WR/TE is the same. In this league, I have Gates, Roddy, Eddie Royal, Greg Olsen, Wallace and Vjax (just picked him up for a week or two to see what happens around the trade deadline)If wallace is my wr 4, and will put up WR1 stat lines occasionally, I'll take that.Hipple said:Problem with Wallace is he is so reliant on the deep ball, it's like owning Lee Evans on crack.
