Players You Will Be Trying To Trade This Week. (1 Viewer)

I personally, will be looking to package Anquan Boldin and Pierre Thomas for the best offer made this week.

Guys I'm interested in acquiring are....

Steve Slaton - Terrible yards per carry, but he's managing to find his way into the endzone and has been on a nice 5 game tear.

Ronnie Brown - Of course he's not going to be cheap, but sometimes you just gotta pay the price for talent.

Greg Jennings - A good buy low candidate, imo. It helps that I'm a Rodgers owner.

Michael Crabtree - Why not in PPR?

Michael Turner - Another buy low candidate imo.

Frank Gore - Buy low from disgruntled Gore owners. They've already had him miss 3 games, and disappointed in his return vs Houston.

Ryan Grant - 100+ yfs 4 weeks in a row.

I'm trying to move Pierre Thomas as well. I've offered PT and Steve Smith (nyg) for Moss...PT and Steve Smith for Ronnie Brown...and am in talks with an owner for Mendenhall straight up for Steve Smith. Non PPR...I'm not sure if any owners are willing to take PT but i will soon find out. I personally want no parts of that 3way committee and it seems Sean Payton is riding the hot hand between him and Bell.I've thought about dealing Jennings but i think his value is to low and i will not get enough in return. I'm stuck riding this one out and am hoping for the best.

Really like what Palmer is doing/has done, would be a guy I target (even before the blow up).

That being said, I might package him and a good WR for a QB upgrade.

Few I'd think about trying to trade for:

Thomas Jones

Gore

Chris Johnson

Westbrook

Jennings

Calvin johnson

Andre Johnson

As a Grant owner, good luck trying to get him. He is at a high point thus far this season. As a Calvin owner, I am trying to move him. The injury doesn't appear to be getting significantly better. Too bad he hasn't done anything lately. Hopefully name recognition alone will fetch value.

This can work and I would target an owner with alot of depth but i'm wondering what his perceived value is by non owners?

I'll be trying to unload S Smith (NYG) because of the last 2 games and with the cold weather coming soon.
I'm considering the same thing. Still trying to determine if I'm really "better" with the players I seem to be getting offered for him.Would love to get my hands on Gore, but don't see that happening. I'm a Calvin Johnson owner in a couple leagues redraft leagues, and I can't see getting anywhere near value for him, if anything at all, when there's so much question surrounding hsi leg.Beanie Wells has been a target of mine for a month because of that playoff schedule, but after this game I'm afraid that ship may have sailed.

Good call because this guy has the potential to lead a team to a title. I just hope he can get the opportunity. Does anyone know the touch break down between him and Hightower? Has he been getting more opportunities each week?

Until this week, Hightower has had more touches every game, but his YPC is pretty lousy(believe it's 3.0 even).Wells had 10 or 11 more touches than Timmy this week, I think. Tim still saw a little goal line work and scored.

Michael Turner looks hurt or something. He does not have the burst or power he displayed in the Preseason or last year. Something is going on with him.

Michael Turner - Another buy low candidate imo.Frank Gore - Buy low from disgruntled Gore owners. They've already had him miss 3 games, and disappointed in his return vs Houston.
I agree on these two but I'm having a hard time putting together an offer. What do their owners want / what are they worth in PPR?

Thanks for the info. I might try and make a move for him.

I don't really have a read on Gore. Outside of the game where he debacled the seahawks, he really wasn't lighting it up. The line in San Fran is not very good but you know Gore will be forced fed the ball. I haven't looked at his schedule but he is intriguing at this point.I don't play ppr but the Gore owner asked me today if I would be interested in a trade. I told him that I will get back to him with an offer.Gotta think about what i want to do here.

Also, does anyone know if Alex Smith is going to start? He looked really good yesterday and could open up that offense. If so, this would really help Gore.

With Donald Brown taking a shoulder injury, Addai is a sleeper target to acquire.

I'm trying to unload him due to his massive salary in my league now while the pan is hot.

I'd be looking to buy low on Turner, Moreno or Mendy.

Probably looking to deal Pierre Thomas this week and package him with another asset to upgrade my running back position. Having both him and Bell on the roster is only enjoyable from a fantasy experience when one of them is injured.

I offered RMoss for Turner & Boldin in my .5 PPR league. Not sure if the other owner will accept

Wells had 10 or 11 more touches than Timmy this week, I think. Tim still saw a little goal line work and scored.
Wells: 14 carries/67 yards - 3 receptions/10 yardsHightower: 4 carries/9 yards - 2 receptions/11 yards

The game thread said Hightower was benched after a fumble. His TD came in the 3rd quarter though, after Beanie had taken over. Does that mean Hightower still might get goal line work?

I think the interesting stat here is Beanie's 3 receptions. Up until this game he only had one. His main knock early in the season was that he couldn't block on passing downs. And in the few games I watched, they would ONLY bring Wells in on early downs/running plays. If this game is indicating that they trust him more on passing downs, I'd say this is the turning point for him and he'll see more work from now on. I own both backs and I'm considering trading away Hightower. I just wish it were more clear cut.

Actually, I think it is pretty clear cut. In the 3 games since the bye, Wells has 120 yards rushing on 33 carries for a 3.6 YPC - THT, on the other hand has only 58 yards rushing on 10 less carries (23) for a 2.5 YPC average. Also, receptions for THT are 5, 4 and 2 (in those 3 weeks respectively - they're going down) for Wells the reception #'s have been 0, 1 then 3.

Finally, in terms of the question about THT in the redzone and near the goal line:

Wells had 3 carries inside the 20 and 3 inside the 10. The only carry THT got in the redzone was the single 3rd and 1 at the 1 carry (after two attempts by Wells - 1st and goal from the 7 - gain of 4, 2nd and goal from the 4 - gain of 3). People who saw the game have suggested that Wells got "mangled" on the 2nd down run, and that they put in THT simply becuase Wells seemed a little shaken up - I didn't see the game, but 6 carries to 1 make it pretty clear who is getting the red zone and goal line carries.

I think Wells' carry numbers going forward are going to start looking alot like Moreno's (with less receptions). He's probably going to see 10-14 touches per game with a total of about 50 yards and an occasional score. I'd pencil him for about 8 pts./game ins standard leagues, with that average moving up as he gets more touches as the season progresses.

The time to trade Pierre Thomas was after one of his great games. His value dropped after yesterday. I would hold because you probably won't get much right now. Trade value is often only as good as the players most recent game or games.

What was encouraging was Beanie is starting to now, too. Before this week, he couldn't smell the field when inside the 20.His TD was from 13 last night with Hightower in the game at the same time.

(a patient Beanie owner that was waiting for this week).

He'll be my RB3 (non-ppr) behind CJ and Jacobs ROW.

Not only does Hightowers YPC suck but he lost a fumble and we saw where that got Beanie the first 2 months of the season.

I'm desperate to move Bowe....haven't seen his target stats from yesterday, but all he does is catch touchdown passes and I'm beginning to understand Buddy Ryan's frustration, lol

seriously, his pts are grossly inflated by the high proportion of TD passes and unless I see/hear some reason to think that he'll be getting more targets I have to believe that his TDs will come back down to a normal proportion...but while his "true" production is obfuscated by all the TD I think now is a good time to move him.

as always, just my opinion.

My whole team. That includes Brees, and Randy Moss among others.......

The team sucks........ Only guy I might not trade is Moreno, as this is a keeper league.

:lmao: Came in here to post exact same thing. Right now Bowe is probably ranked in the Top 20, but as you astutely point out, most Bowe owners know this is a specious ranking. Without those TDs he's an albatross. Hope to shop him to someone who won't look far past the stat line and think they are getting a legit WR2.

I have two great TEs in Owen Daniels and Vernon Davis.......they will both be on the block, along with S Smith NYG, Bowe, and Santonio Holmes to see if I can get an upgrade at RB or QB.

 I traded PT before week 6 games.

the only thing that keeps me from trying to move him is that playoff schedule.

same here as I am also a Bowe owner.WHat you think I may get for a Gore/Bowe package? Just not feeling too confident about the line in SF at all. Also trying to deal Heath Miller while his pans out as I have Celek also.

I just offered Gore/Bowe for Slaton/White or Rice.....owner is thinking about it and if he agrees then I can mull over if I'll do it.

I had my response to this thread composed and saved in my drafts folder, but one of the owners in my league stepped forth and saved my ### late last week when he offered me Slaton and Antonio Bryant for Matt Forte.

Thank you baby Tebows! No way I'd be able to move Forte after his latest stinker game.

Might be difficult to get what you consider value for him - I think the time to trade him may have come and gone.
I just traded steve smith (nyg) and PT for randy moss and brent celek. I'm deep at rb and needed an upgrade at tightend bc dustin keller is pitiful. Hope that gives you guys an idea of their trade values.

Very nice deal for you. I guess it's not too late to cash in on Smith's hot start after all.

Team A gets: CJ28, JenningsTeam B gets: Gore, Bowe, Millerwho wins and why
I'm not really sure anyone wins. Seems pretty even, regardless of which Miller you refer to (Zach or Heath?). I probably prefer the side that gets Gore.
