If I win the game I go to the championship game. I'm up by 0.48 and he's done. I have Ganther left to play. I'm going to sit Ganther, to prevent the I got hurt and fumbled scenario, and thus advance to the Championships. Is this a #### move or a smart one?

What if there's a scoring change and you lose by sitting him?
Should know scoring changes by game time. To add to this is that I did something similar the year I won the league. i was tied and had my Defense playing on Monday. I had the tiebreaker so sat them. They gave up 38 pts and scored -5.

IIRC stat changes can be made all the way until Thursday mornings (I believe Rodgers was even given a stat correction last Thursday even). Playing Ganther seems the safer play to me.

Actually you won't know the scoring changes by kickoff tomorrow - STATS LLC / Elias and the NFL usually do those on Wednesday, sometimes Thursday (check the scoring changes log at your league website - pretty consistent all year on that).

But...sounds like your mind is made up...GL pard.

I may be in the minority, but I think you should play a RB. It may be a RB that doesn't start and may not play much, but to have an empty spot doesn't seem right. When a set of rules says you will play 2 RBs, you should play 2 RBs. As the comissioner in my leagues, we have address this issue and expect people to play a complete roster.
