Playoff Flex strategy/tips? (1 Viewer)

Do you guys plan on using a RB or WR as your flex when playoff time rolls around?

I have depth at both position and was wondering what the rest of you guys use?

Will depend on Foster's health, but it is currently a toss-up between Foster (Shady/Lacy starting) and Keenan Allen (Marshall/Garcon/Decker, maybe AJ if I get him) for me

Obviously it all depends on the format and the RB/WR you're using.

In PPR I tend to go with WR as a decent WR will have a higher floor than a decent RB (i.e., a flex-level RB). But it's impossible to make generalizations without taking each situation as it is.

Whichever position scores more in your format...it's not rocket science. Go with the player you suspect will score more points.

I agree with everyone that it comes down to the best player available, but I have a basic strategy. I am in all non-PPR leagues this year and I usually prefer a reliable RB if I have the option due to the combo of upside/safe floor, but once you get into the area of players where it's a crapshoot I tend to look for receivers as I think they have more potential to put up numbers than an RB with limited touches. I perceive the receivers (esp lower end) as more boom/bust and I like the "boom" appeal. This depends a lot on league format etc.
