I've been running a playoff league for the past 15 years during the NFL playoffs. We currently have 20 owners signed up and have room for 4-10 more owners. The entry fee is $25 with a 100% payout. UFFL Playoff League Rules:
1. The league will consist of 24-30 teams. This is a total points league. The team with the most points after the Super Bowl will be crowned the 2014 UFFL Playoff League Champion.
2. You will select your initial roster from the players available in the NFL Playoffs. Rosters will consist of 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 WRs, 2 TEs, 1 RB/WR/TE, 2 PKs, 3 DLs (1 DT, 1 DE, 1 DE/DT), 3 LBs, and 3 DBs (1 CB, 1 S, 1 CB/S) for a total of 24 players. You cannot select more than four players from any NFL team roster.
The deadline for submitting your roster via e-mail to Torreano@aol.com is January 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM ET.
Rosters will be loaded by 12:30 PM ET. Owners then have until 2:30 PM ET Saturday to check their roster and e-mail corrections (only) in case more than four players from one team on roster or short players (less than 24 on roster). Rosters are locked after 2:30 PM ET without exception.
3. Starting lineups will consist of these position requirements or whatever you can field:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
1 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
1 PK
1 DL
1 LB
1 DB
1 Flex (DL/LB/DB)
The Super Bowl flex can be any position (QB, RB, WR, TE, PK, DL, LB, DB).
Lineup Submission Deadline: Gametime - Players are locked at scheduled kickoff of their game.
If a team has an illegal lineup (starting more than one offensive flex player or more than one defensive flex player, starting two QBs or two PKs other than the Super Bowl, etc.) after that weeks' games are completed, the "illegal" player that scored the most points will be removed from their starting lineup.
4. Scoring will be carried out to two decimal spots. In the unlikely event of a tie, the team with the highest one week score will be crowned Champion. The Scoring System is as follows:
Offensive Player Scoring:
1 point per 22.5 yards passing
4.5 pts per passing TD
6 pts per rushing TD
6 pts per receiving TD
1 pt per 10 yards rushing/receiving
0.60 pts per reception (RB)
0.85 pts per reception (WR)
1.10 pts per reception (TE)
1 pt every passing 2pt conversion
2 pts every running 2pt conversion
2 pts every receiving 2pt conversion
-1.5 pt every fumble lost
-1.5 pt every INT thrown
1 pt per PAT
3 pts per Field Goal
1 bonus pt for FG 45+ yds
Defensive Player Scoring:
2 pts every sack
.05 pts for every 1 yard QB sack
2 pts every safety
1 pt every forced fumble
2 pts every fumble recovery
3 pts every interception
1 pt every pass defensed (DL)
0.75 pts every pass defensed (LB & DB)
1.5 pts for each tackle
0.75 pt for each assisted tackle
6 pts every interception returned for TD
6 pts every fumble recovery for TD
5. Transactions. There are no add/drops or trades. All rosters will be frozen after the deadline.
6. As NFL players get eliminated, "OUT" will appear near their names on the league roster to simplify which NFL players are left on each fantasy team.
7. Player position eligibility will be based on what position the player is listed at Rotoworld's depth chart (http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/depth-charts/nfl.aspx). DL include DE, DT, and NT. DB include CB, FS, and SS.
8. Entry fee is $25 per owner. Entry fee is due by January 2, 2015.
9. Prize money is as follows:
First Place - 25% of the entry fee pot = $158.75
Second Place - 15% of the entry fee pot = $95.25
Third Place - 8% of the entry fee pot = $50.80
Fourth Place - 5% of the entry fee pot = $31.75
Fifth Place - 3% of the entry fee pot = $19.05
Sixth Place - 1.6% of the entry fee pot = $10.16
Conference Winner - 8% of the entry fee pot = $50.80 (X2)
Division Winner - 3.2% of the entry fee pot = $20.32 (X6)
Weekly High Score - 1.8% of the entry fee pot = $11.43 (X4)
