Happy New Year! I've been running a playoff league for the past ten years during the NFL playoffs. We currently have 12 owners signed up and have room for 4-6 more owners. The entry fee is $25 with a 100% payout. Here is a link to the league site ... UFFL Playoff League

Thanks,

UFFL Playoff League Rules

1. The league will consist of 12-18 teams. This is a total points league. The team with the most points after the Super Bowl will be crowned the 2010 UFFL Playoff League Champion.

2. You will select your initial roster from the players available in the NFL Playoffs. Rosters will consist of 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 WRs, 2 TEs, 2 PKs, 2 DL, 2 LBs, 2 DBs, and 2 RB/WR for a total of 22 players. You can not select more than four players from any NFL team roster. The deadline for submitting your roster is January 8, 2010 at 11:59 AM EST.

3. Lineup Submission Deadline: Gametime - Players are locked at scheduled kickoff of their game. Starting lineups will consist of these position requirements or whatever you can field:

1 QB

2 RB

2 WR

1 TE

1 PK

1 DL

1 LB

1 DB

1 any position

4. Scoring will be carried out to two decimal spots. In the unlikely event of a tie, the team with the highest one week score will be crowned Champion. The Scoring System is as follows:

Offensive Player Scoring:

1 point per 25 yards passing

5 pts per passing TD

6 pts per rushing TD

6 pts per receiving TD

1 pt per 10 yards rushing/receiving

.5 pts per reception

3 pts per Field Goal

1 bonus pt for FG 45+ yds

Defensive Player Scoring:

2 pts every fumble recovery

2.5 pts every interception

6 pts every interception returned for TD

6 pts every fumble recovery for TD

1.5 pts for each tackle

.75 pt for each assisted tackle

5. Transactions. There are no add/drops or trades. All rosters will be frozen after the deadline.

6. As NFL players get eliminated, "OUT" will appear near their names on the league roster to simplify which NFL players are left on each fantasy team.

7. Player position eligibility will be based on what position the player is listed as at http://www.nfl.com, the official web site of the NFL. DL include DE, DT, and NT. DB include CB, FS, and SS.

8. Entry fee is $25 per owner. Entry fee is due by January 8, 2010. Owners can play for free but will not win any prize money. Prize money is as follows:

First Place - 70% of the entry fee pot = $TBD

Second Place - 20% of the entry fee pot = $TBD

Third Place - 10% of the entry fee pot = $TBD

Note - TBD entry fees received for a total entry fee pot of $TBD.

9. Any dispute or decision will be handled soley by the UFFL Commissioner.

10. The UFFL leagues are all about fair and fun play for all owners. Trash talking is fine as it is a part of the game, but it should be limited to the players playing for the owners and not disrespect for the league and its owners. Vulgarity and predigests is not allowed and can cause banishment from the league. Please respect others and treat them with the respect you would want.
