I'm lucky enough to be first place in both of my leagues that have playoffs in wk 15 & 16, but in both leagues I think I drew the worst possible matchup. I was curious if anyone had considered allowing the top seed to pick their first round matchup. You could do it as a bonus for winning the regular season (as opposed to a bye) or you could allow the first seed to pick, then the next highest seed, and so on until every matchup is decided. I'm sure there's a lot of +'s and -'s about it that we could discuss, but it would definitely create some interesting strategy.
Would you play the best team earlier if their matchups were worse on that week? If there were only 4 teams in the playoffs would you try to force another team into a particular matchup that you think looks tough that week?
