I'm as big of a Bucs honk as there is, and even I'm not buying they have the 4th-best shot of winning the Super Bowl.

Here's another one I can't figure out -- why is GB more likely than TB to make the NFCC game (which, of course, is logical) but less likely to win it? :shuked: I'm guessing this is due to some thinking that TB is going to get a 2 seed or something.

They are 2-1, with the two wins coming at home against the two worst teams in the NFL. This is just silly.

San Fran! Seriously, I don't think it's completely out of line to say that San Fran is more likely to win the Super Bowl, because they would have an easier road. This isn't a conditional probability, like "Given that SD and SF make the Super Bowl, who is more likely to win?" SF could go 8-8 and make the NFC playoffs, beat a couple of mediocre teams and then take their chances. SD needs to go 8-5 the rest of the way at least, then probably face a playoff schedule like @PIT, @IND, @NE.Besides, you guys are quibbling over <0.5%. According to that link, the 9ers have about the same chance of winning the Super Bowl as they do of getting the first overall pick next year. So I wouldn't put too much stock into it.
