plays erased by penalty (1 Viewer)

any significant plays erased by penalty that won't show up in the final stats, or maybe close plays, like jordy stretching out thursday night and just missing the pylon?

Nothing substantial but Brian quick had a 20 yard catch and run nullified because he did an offensive face mask. Would have broke 100 today otherwise.

Antonio Brown had a pretty nice punt return called back for kicking the punter in the face, which I think is BS, because I totally think you should be able to kick punters in the face.

Trent had a nice 3-yard carry wiped out by a holding penalty. It would have added about 15% to his production.

fred jackson was really close to scoring on that overtime run. he may have been in. he shoulda been in. just put the ball in your other hand. you already did the hard part.

Cowboys would of had another turnover (fumble) after intercepting a pass, but review showed it was incomplete. So an interception being over turned for the Cowboys was a good thing for them. That tells me one thing...

Going to be a long season for the Cowboys.

Kaepernick had several runs called back for holding penalties that were totally away from the ball. I think he had at least a 10-yarder and a 16-yarder.

Julio Jones was tackled around the 2-3 yard line two times against New Orleans. He fumbled on one of those. He had a monster day, and could have been even better.

You should rename this thread, "plays that are irrelevant just like me".
I think this is a bit much...I actually find threads like this to be a statistical angle that most miss. One of my favorite FBG articles in the past was the Close Calls thread that covered guys who got touches inside the 10 and didn't score, or who had plays called back on penalties. It's a great way to get insight into who probably should have scored more but didn't...

D.Thomas went out of bounds at the 1 on a 29 yard catch and run.

Wallace missed a tipped ball in the end zone, should have been ,would have been an easy TD if he saw it sooner.

Fred Jackson's long run in OT that missed being a TD by inches.
