Please help me with this PPR offer (my team stinks) (1 Viewer)

So this is probably my 2nd worst (and least favorite) dynasty roster out of all my teams. This is a 12 team PPR league where we start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, and 1 flex (wr/rb/te) 

I have been offered the following trade:

Moncrief and Sammie Coates 

for

Ertz and 2.2

I am torn because I don't think Coates has much if any value and I really need as many pics as I can to rebuild this turd. I also have the 2.8 pick, along with the 1.1 (which I will clearly use on a RB) Would you accept this offer, counter with the 2.8 instead of the 2.2 or pass altogether? I am very high on Ertz, but I do have good TE depth so moving one for a WR upgrade does make sense....

If you like Moncrief, then I would counter and ask for a player that you like better than Coates, and / or drop that 2.2 choice from what you are giving up. You need to figure out Moncrief's value to you, and then negotiate a fair deal that doesn't make you bear all the risk.

I don't like that initial offer, Moncrief has potential, but he isn't a consistent proven ff performer.

Moncrief for Ertz and your 2.2 is a terrible offer for you.

I own Reed, and with him, you need good TE depth for when he is hurt (which happens a lot).

I would think about offering Reed for trade and see what someone in your league will give you for him, when Reed is healthy, he can be an incredible asset to your team and to the right owner, He will have good trade value.

Coates is a waiver wire fodder and superfluous to the trade offer.

You got Reed (concussions and all) but you don't need to trade your 2nd best WR, behind Jeffery to acquire Ertz, who is not on too many target lists. Reject the trade and use the 2.02 to help rebuild your team, along with the 1.01 and 2.08.

In agreement with the others...  this  draft is pretty deep with TEs, so you can find someone that would give you some protection with Reed.  I would reject the offer as I like Moncrief over Ertz and the 2.2.  Coates type players can be found on the wiaver wire for "free".

I would do the trade - prefer Moncrief to Ertz and 2.02.  If you could swap out 2.08 for 2.02 or another player for Coates that would only make it better.

I would pass on this all together.  I'm skeptical on how high a ceiling I think Moncrief really has.  He had a really nice stretch of getting TD down the stretch after missing 6 games due to injury but he now has 3 seasons in and his total yardage high is 733.  Don't get me wrong, I think he has good potential and I like him.  I just feel like you are trading a 2 for 1 and your team needs enough pieces yet that I don't think you can afford to be making 2 for 1 type deals.  I would rather hold Ertz and that 2.2 pick.  In the very least if you are a big Moncrief fan I would at most make that 2.2 the 2.8 pick as you asked.  I just don't see enough difference between Ertz and Moncrief to want to give up a very important asset to swap them out.

I would take moncrief but yea Coates is just so so. 

I would only do the deal for the 2.8 so counter with that. Or skip th pick all together and send him a cut candidate player in return.
