If someone you know asks you to pray for them, what is your response?
He was talking to Clayton. Thanks broMy thoughts (or wishes) are with you.
This is disturbingly detailed.I'm very religious but do not believe in God (I worship Satan). I say I will pray, and if it's someone I care about, I either light a candle for Berith or make an offering of sheep's blood to Eligos, depending on the circumstances. If it's someone I don't like, I write their name on a piece of paper and burn it while invoking Asmodeus.
I can imagine it. Someone like an old aunt who doesn't know you real well tells you she is dying and in a meek, feeble voice asks you to pray for her. I could see saying, "Sure thing aunty, I'll pray for you."Don't understand this response: I do not believe in God; I say I will but then I don't pray.
Telling someone I'm going to pray is about as uncomfortable as telling them I'm into dudes. I don't even know if I can say the word "pray". I'm prayophobic
True.i do not get that proflu guy but here is my answer i believe in the big kahuna but maybe not some of the people that say they know what he wants but hey if i say i am going to keep you in my prayers i try to do it because what the hell you can do what you say or you can be a guy who just talks without action so i try to be a guy who sticks to his word that is what made you a legend in the old west anyhow and i read a lot of that growing up and it stuck i guess so hey take that to the bank brohans
that is all you can really do anyhow right and for most stuff it is normally health related and the big thing is that the person knows they have a lot of friends and support and that makes them positive and having a positive attitude the docs say is a big thing to getting through health stuff so hey we are on the same page bromigo and you can take that to the bankTrue.i do not get that proflu guy but here is my answer i believe in the big kahuna but maybe not some of the people that say they know what he wants but hey if i say i am going to keep you in my prayers i try to do it because what the hell you can do what you say or you can be a guy who just talks without action so i try to be a guy who sticks to his word that is what made you a legend in the old west anyhow and i read a lot of that growing up and it stuck i guess so hey take that to the bank brohans
I am a well known atheist here so I know people know I don't pray per se. I do definitely think about and send good thoughts people's way when they are in need. Now on occasion I will fib as in the older aunt example above. She isn't going to understand my not praying so just say what makes her happy and then you do what you do.

I'm pretty sure they all got paid for their efforts.Know a guy who is 1 year in remission from testicle cancer. He caught it very early, and had a very good outcome. At his 1 year anniversary of his diagnosis, he thanked/praised god, and said nothing of his doctors, nurses, healthcare providers, scientists, etc. I found it extremely pathetic.
you and me bothI try to be a complete jackass, ignore their problem and ridicule their faith because I need to feel superior
