Plummer Grievance Hearing To Be Held This Month (2 Viewers)

Not sure how TB is entitled to the money, seeing how they didn't pay any of it. DEN is the one that gave him the bonus money and had to take the salary cap hit by trading him. TB ended up with his contract, but they didn't pay out any money at all.

I think that is why it is a joint grievance by the Broncos and Bucs. If the Broncos win back the money they will have to pay the Bucs as part of the trade.

Wasn't this the same as the Ricky Williams/Miami situation? It makes sense to me that when you trade for a guy and assume his contract, you get the benefits and detriments of assuming the contract. Really no different than acquiring a company and assuming both its contractual rights and obligations.

I think that was actually one of the negotiated terms of the trade - if Plummer stayed retired, TB had the right to seek reimbursement.

what's he doing now anyway?

He's considerred Bucs "property", came up at the owners spring meeting.

Last I heard (maybe on Denver news) was he bought a ranch in the NW (Idaho iirc), married a broncos cheerleader, and rode off into the sunset.
