What are you listening to? Anything good? I searched and there doesn't seem to be a dedicated podcast thread.

Some of my favorites:
Bill Simmons Podcast (he still has it folks)
Plain English with Derek Thompson
Making Sense (Sam Harris)
All In
The Rachel Maddow Show
The Audible (our old friends Sig & Cecil)
Smartless
The Bulwark
Hacks on Tap
The Next Level
The Daily (NYT)
Post Reports (Wa Post)
Conversations with Tyler
Guilty As Charged (LA Chargers Podcast)
Padres Hot Tub (SD Padres)
Voice of San Diego Podcast
Rates and Barrels (Eno Saris)
The David Pakman Show

My new favorite pod: Decoding the Gurus. It's a fantastic podcast where a psychologist and an anthropologist analyze discussions/debates/podcasts from contemporary "experts". It's fantastic to listen to Matt and Chris pick apart some of the most famous voices in the world and point out the absurdity and hypocrisy they traffic in. Highly recommended. Peter Thiel is this weeks subject and it's a fascinating listen.

The Prof G - Scott Galloway

Can I ask what you liked about Decoding the Gurus? I tried a couple of episodes (one about Sam Harris, another about Konstantin Kisin), and both seemed to just be hate fests without much substance.

The search function continues to be weird. There’s definitely a long (and good) dedicated What Podcasts are you listening to thread. Lots of great suggestions in there. Maybe someone more skilled then I could help find it.
Happy to delete or merge this into that one if someone finds it. 👍

I love the way they deconstruct the conservations with fact checks and context. And if the emperor has no clothes, they call it out. 👍

Bill Simmons Podcast (he still has it folks)

I've been a Simmons listener since like 2008 or 2009. One of the first podcasts I listened to regularly, when B.S. Report and Russillo's NBA Today pod were among the few options. It was like hanging out with my friends talking sports and pop culture. I enjoyed his writing as well, from Page 2 through Grantland, back when he still did that.

But he's just become completely insufferable the past few years. I still subscribe - because I need something to listen to when I have insomnia that doesn't keep my attention enough to stay awake. I don't begrudge his success at all, it's kind of awesome. He's just become annoying and unrelatable, imho.

Of the others you listed Plain English, Smartless, The Daily and The Audible are all in the rotation for me. Other than that it's mostly personal finance and retirement planning podcasts.

I would give a list of my top 10 women's basketball podcasts, but I'll skip that.

I can't recommend "Reckon Yard" by Jerry Wayne Longmire highly enough.

He's a comedian, maybe most known for his Truck Astrology videos on YouTube.

The 1st 30 episodes of the podcast were each based on a particular car in his life/past, and it's grown from there. It's basically just him telling stories, and there's no way to explain how good it is.

It's really just a podcast about life and humanity with a great storyteller and good dude. You'll laugh a lot, and probably cry a good amount too. Even better if you are into cars.

He's certainly different than 20 years ago - agree with that. But when the Luka/AD trade went down, a couple hours later he had a podcast discussing the breaking news with Russillio and Mahoney. He's still better than almost everyone else IMO.

I still really enjoy listening to BS, he’s in the weekly rotation. Cousin Sal is still great too. Love the Rewatchables as well.
