Saw a trailer last night on MNF, happened to watch the original movie last week or so.

Was kinda surprised that it came out of nowhere. The first I heard of it was the trailer last night. Usually there is some notice about it months before it comes out. Especially on the FFA.

What have they been saying about it? Seems the original was more about surfing than the new one.

I don't know if either was ever really about surfing but it did have some epic goofs in it. Honestly, the first one had some of the worst acting ever which made it an instant classic. No ones really discussed the movie, it's more #####ing and moaning over the use of Teahupoo in the movie and which surfers sold out for it.

Watched it online. Stopped after 30 minutes, no chemistry or tension.

Swayze had presence and Nolte with Reeves held your interest. I didn't

find anything in this movie to hold my interest.
