I don't know what's allowed or frowned upon in the forum and i have no authority to ban or suspend anyone but i'm going to ask nicely that you please don't do this in this thread. If you need to complain about bannings or anything else, the thread called political humor is not the place to do it.  

Let's have one place where we don't bicker. If you can't do that here please don't post in the thread.

I haven't read everything he's written but Dave Barry's been cracking me up for 30 years now (at least).

He’s actually the person who got me interested in books. By the time I graduated from high school, I think the list of books I’d read in my lifetime consisted of eight books by Dave Barry, three books by S. E. Hinton, and the first half of Night by Elie Wiesel.
