Yeah, you just can't do that. But I gotta think there are some charities that could have helped if she had reached out. That said I feel for her as her mug shot is pretty heartbreaking. Hopefully she gets a nice judge and the publicity helps her land a job.

You want to watch a 2 year old and an infant for 45 minutes while trying to actually do your job? She'd have been told to hit the bricks before she finished asking the question.
If my options are a hail mary hoping for compassion, or leaving my 6 month old in a car, I'm taking the former.

Why that response? Would you, as a person, want to bring a child in the world, knowing you couldn't care for it, provide it food and shelter, provide a future? I wouldn't. I always wanted to provide for my children, and did everything I could to be prepared before making the decision to go forward with having a child.
Easy to say from the comfort of your computer. If you were on the street and your kids were hungry it might be a little more gray.

They have sex. Thats merely a possible result of sex, as are a few other outcomes. And often its with zero intention or want of kids.

I would say the person who has the kid and then forces the rest of society to bare the burden of raising them.
