Pork Chops: Post Your Best BBQ Receipes (1 Viewer)

Too late to marinade them in basalmic. I use Hawaiian or teriyaki too. Usually marinade chops for at least 5 hours.

My SIL took it upon herself to put jerk seasoning on the chops. I will refer to this thread next time. FML

3-4 chipotles with adobo sauce
1/4 C oj
1/4 C soy
1/4 C brown sugar
1/4 C molasses

1/4 C chopped cilantro
1 C canola oil
S&P pinch of each.

in food processor, blend 1st 6 ingredients until smooth (i also sometimes throw in some toasted sesame oil and sambal oelek).... while still blending very slowly drizzle in the oil.

  • Vietnamese Pork Chops
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup (packed) light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Kosher salt
Will be the best pork chops you ever had.

these are really good if you have the thin chops. i recommend brining chops in general

Get thick ones, soak them in buttermilk, butterfly them, fill with a thin (1/2' to 1') layer of stuffing, a couple toothpicks to hold 'em together and grill them, turning them once.

The grilling time will depend on your grill temp and the thickness of the chops. It'll be pretty easy to figure out when they're done.

Simple salt/sugar brine for 3-5 hours

Marinate in

2 teaspoons snipped fresh chives
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon Kentucky bourbon
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
for 5 hours

save some of the marinade to brush on as you cook

cook over direct heat for 8-10 minutes a side(thick cut) to 135 and brush liberally with bourbon glaze. Let rest 15 minutes, enjoy
