(Rotoworld) The 49ers re-hired Ted Tollner as an offensive coach on Tuesday.Impact: Tollner faces the daunting task of helping maligned offensive coordinator Jim Hostler improve the 49ers' attack. Tollner was the offensive coordinator for the 49ers in 2004, but lost his job when Dennis Erickson was fired. in 2005, he held the position for the Lions. He certainly can't hurt.

This should have been done several games ago. We'll see if it makes an impact. Like the guy said, certainly can't hurt.

Gore much more a part of the gameplan. Maybe this coaching change did the trick.

Amazingly this looks to be true. But I ask, how can they be so inept, bring someone in who previously was there and the let go, and he makes them instantly somewhat better? Someone needs fired because they orginally let him go if this is the case. Other than Stone Hands Jackson and the suckage of Dilfer, the O looks better.

When there's a head coaching change, they usually clean house. Looks like this guy just got lost in the shuffle. Somebody did something right though, getting him back I mean.
