Colts P Pat McAfee was arrested at around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday morning for public intoxication.

McAfee allegedly took his shirt off, went for a swim in the Broad Ripple Canal and then approached a woman's car drunk and soaking wet with no shirt on, at which point the woman called the police. He blew a .15 on a breathalyzer test, which is nearly twice the legal limit. McAfee could possibly be looking at a suspension.

If it's the canal I'm thinking of I'd guess it's about 4 feet deep, and 20 feet wide. It's a commercial area/tourist attraction, which makes this story pretty funny in my mind.

Regarding the .15, it depends on where they administered the test. If he went for a ride to the station it's possible that a good amount of time may have passed before they administered it.

"The Broad Ripple Canal" sounds like the name for the worst strip joint ever.

Indy should not store their alcohol in the kicking equipment room.
