Would be great to see some results of others who've drafted already. I've got about a week yet.

Thinking of going WR/WR to start....

Thanks

12 team-PPR-1 QB/2-3 RB/2-3 WR/1-2 TE/1 K/1-2 D (Flex)-11th pick-10th year with savvy owners (No guppies)

1.11-Andre Johnson (All TD's are 6-3 QB's taken) I was shocked that he fell to there.

2.02-SJax-RB's are being gobbled up-Not a big fan, but couldn't pass him up. Hope he rewards me.

3.11-Best-Others were R. Bush, Jacobs, Portis-Liked Best's value plus this is a possible rookie keeper for next year

4.02-Romo-Almost took him at 3.11, but need another RB. Fortunately he fell back to me. Last of the top 6.

5.11-Ocho-TO IS a concern, along with Palmers noodle arm, but I thought him the pick here.

6.02-Sims-Walker

7.11-M. Bush

8.02-Felix

9.11-Santana Moss (Liked the value here)

10.02-Z. Miller (Waited as long as I could for TE)

11.11-Cooley (Is he gonna be healthy all year? Or to begin?)

12.02-Indy D

13.11-D. Mason

14.02-San Diego

15.11-J. Campbell

16.02-Tynes

17.11-Chambers

18.02-Nedney

MUST draft 2 full starting lineups with 2 flex

Draft order chosen just prior to the draft. I feel so-so about this draft. Liked the start, but found NO value in the middle at all.

From the #11 Pick thread:

I used this thread to help prepare so I'll try and give back by saying how it went for me last night.12 team, PPR, 6 pt TD (including QB), start 2 RB, 2 WR, Flex RB/WR, TE mandatory . I'd rank the league a 7 out of 12 in terms of expertise.1st Rd1. CJ2. Ray Rice (drafted in baltimore)3. AP4. MJD5. Gore6. AJ7. Rodgers8. Brees9. Manning10. Turner (I was really hoping he would fall to me)11. Moss12. S Jackson2.1 Wayne2.2 MathewsSo, I ended up with Moss and Mathews after 2 rounds. I liked it yesterday, but am loving it today. Partly because of the Mathews thread that is pumping him up. I would have gone Turner if he was there in the 1st, and by Wayne and Jackson being taken at the turn, it made picking Mathews pretty easy for me. When it got back to me in the 3rd, I was looking at Grant or S Green. I ended up going Grant and Green went right after me. The top 5-6 QB's had already been taken and there was just a run on WR's leading up to my 3rd round pick. I ended up going Dallas Clark in the 4th. TE is required, and in a PPR league I thought he was the best available player. I was also looking at Best, Spiller and Foster but thought it would be reaching a little taking them at 4.2.Best and Spiller went before my next pick and I took A. Foster without hesitation at 5.11. I got my WR2 in the 6th with P Garcon. Since I waited until the end of the 7th to take a QB, I went Cutler at 7.11 and Favre at 8.2. Hopefully one of them will be serviceable throughout the season. I finished my position players in order starting in the 9th: Fred Jackson, Steve Slaton, Devin Hester, M Williams (TB), J Gafney. My last two picks were Rackers and the Bears DST.I ended up with:CutlerFavreMathewsGrantFosterJacksonSlatonMossGarconHesterWilliamsGafneyClarkRackersBearsI wasn't thrilled with the 11 spot going into the draft, but I feel good about what I was able to walk away with.

Have never drafted a WR in even the first round before let alone 3 to start a draft but when your one, two and three rated WR's keep falling to you what are you supposed to do? I saw so much RB depth past the top 10 RB's I felt I had no other choice then to load up with the top WR's. Has anyone out there ever done this before and had any success?

Interesting fact how over 50% of those posting in here had about the #9 draft slot and ended up getting Barber later in the draft. I'm not making a point really, but it is interesting.

Could have started off with R. Moss/Cal. Johnson in Rds 1 & 2. But having a star QB helps in our league, and I am high on Foster. Calvin Johnson almost fell to me in the third, anyway (went at 3.07). Had I waited until the 3rd round for a QB, i'd have been in the Kolb/E. Manning tier.

Still, I had to grasp WRs like crazy in the middle rounds. Tried to take legit real-team WR1s after passing on Welker, Nicks, and Sims-Walker at 5.09 to take third RB Ronnie Brown.

EDIT: forgot to mention that this is a 12-team league.
