I checked at ANTSPORTS that is his ADP as of today

3.01 in a ten team league is pick 21. That doesn't seem unreasonable for MJD.

Overall, not bad. I'd swap Javon Walker for Donald Driver if he was available but that is a small quibble.

Yeah, I don't see MJD lasting that long, either. And Vince Young at that point I think might be a

bit late, too...

Not bad, but I'm not a fan of MJD this year. I do like the combo of Holt and LT though. If I had the 1st pick in a 10 teamer, I would combine LT with 2 top WRs. My reasoning is simple, LT is really like 1.5 RBs so I beleive that you can really get ahead of the league if you get 2 top 7-8 WRs and then go RB-WR in rounds 4/5.

Something like this:

1.1 LT

2.10 Owens

3.1 Holt

4.10 Caddy

5.1 Moss

* I used antsports ADP

I would be very happy with this lineup to start?

BTW - I think that this is a great thread and we could use this for all of the draft slots.....hmm....

Rivers and LT on the same fantasy team? Won't they be fighting for TDs?

A) Rivers is a bad pick because of his limited upside and because you should rarely take a backup QB that early in this format, you're playing for fourth place with that pick.B) MJD wouldn't make it according to FBG ADP. C) VY is a high risk pick...you're better off going with a QBBC if you're going to wait, in 10 teamers you should have taken a better QB earlier.D) K. Jones can be had later according to most ADP dataYou messed this up quite a bit IMHO...stay away from expert money leagues. :goodposting:

Week 8 is really looking rough this year.

The easiest thing to do is (well, maybe not the easiest - but to get the 'optimum'):

Load FBG ADP list;
Load FBG projections (subscriber 6/15 release);
Load FBG scoring;
Set the minimums and maximums (i.e. no less than 2QBs, no more than 3 player with ADP of 30 or less overall, etc.);
Set the minimums for bye weeks (i.e. at least 1QB playing, etc.);
Run the program and see the results.Looking at the first 10 rounds and locking 2/3/4/1 for positions... the optimal draft is:

1.01 - Ladainian Tomlinson (7)

2.10 - Edgerrin James (8)

3.01 - Torry Holt (9)

4.10 - Javon Walker (6)

5.01 - Adrian Peterson (5)

6.10 - Santana Moss (4)

7.01 - Jeremy Shockey (9)

8.10 - Jay Cutler (6)

9.01 - Matt Hasselbeck (8)

10.10 - Santonio Holmes (6)

Other good picks (but a little 'less-optimal') at the same spots were:

2.10/3.01 Benson, Wayne/Harrison (trouble with byes);

4.10/5.01 Brees, Housh, Driver, RMoss, Evans, Burress;

6.10/7.01 Edwards, Branch, Heap;

8.10/9.01 Rivers;

10.10 Hackett.

not sure it can get much better than this from the one whole. You should be able to figure out what rounds i got most of these players in?

1.01- LT (ADP 1.01)

2.10- Owens (ADP 3.07)

3.01- Holt (ADP 3.01)

4.10- TJ Houshyomama (ADP 5.05)

7.01- Jon Kitna (ADP 8.01)

8.10- Vernand Morency (ADP 10.04)

9.01- Matt Hasselbeck (ADP 9.06)

10.10 - DJ Hackett (ADP 11.05)

I jumped on the stud WRs early figuring on the additional advantage at the start 3WR position. There won't be a struggle to find starting RBs in a league this size, and unless you land a solid #1 (far from guaranteed late 2nd), the point differential is not worth passing up on guys like Holt or Owens in the 2nd. I followed the early WR picks with plenty of RB depth throughout the draft to give me options at RB#2 to lineup with LT each week. Kitna is the last available solid QB#1, and I think the 7th round is a good value for him even in a 10 man league.

TE required:

LT

Owens

Holt

Housh

Brees

J.Jones

T.Heap

Morency

T.Bell

Hackett

If the LT owner can land Edge as #2 and still get Holt & Walker.....that's ridiculously unfair and a guaranteed playoff run if nobody gets injured.

How often does Peyton last to the end of the 2nd round in WCOFF leagues?
