Why is everyone selling? I havent seen him much so maybe its something you guys know.
Is it that he is (slow) from most reports? Not in on passing situations thus meaning not a 3 down back?
Is it cause of his injury history and he did sit out the 4th with some knee issues.
I mean i know the reason of selling high, hench the perfect time to sell is now off a big game.
Regarding redraft, Washington's oline (while improved from last year) hasn't exactly been a stellar run blocking unit this season, to say the least.Torrain just had a good game against a team with a weak run defense on national tv which everyone saw.
The Redskins are playing at Chicago this Sunday, who is very stout against the run. I don't see Torrain coming close to 100 yards, so I think he'll only break double digit points
if he gets in the endzone.
The following week Washington is at Detroit, whose dline is another bad matchup against the Redskins oline.
He has a bye coming up in week 9.
After the bye the Skins have: Philly, @Tenn, Minny, @NYG, TB, @Dal, Jax. That's a pretty brutal schedule for Washington's running game.
Portis is supposedly going to be back later this season. Who knows how big of role he'll have in the offense when he returns, but I assume he'll at least take over 3rd down duties.
In summary, this is the perfect time for Torrain owners to sell if they can get good value for him. If you hold on to him past this week, it's his value will almost certainly diminish.
