A look at the snaps played by Patriots offensive skill position players in Monday's 25-24 victory over the Bills, as charted in the press box:
QB Tom Brady -- 81 of 81 snaps
WR Randy Moss -- 80 of 81
TE Benjamin Watson -- 65 of 81
WR Wes Welker -- 62 of 81
WR Joey Galloway -- 60 of 81
TE Chris Baker -- 46 of 81

ANALYSIS: The one snap that Moss came off the field was Taylor's 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, when the Patriots ran a power package with three tight ends and Morris serving as a lead-blocking fullback. Moss's high play-time numbers in Week 1 reflect that while he is 32 years old, he is still in peak physical condition. ... The running back snaps reflect a true committee-type approach, with Faulk leading the way because of the time the Patriots spent in the two-minute offense in the final 5-plus minutes. ... It was also an even split at tight end between Baker and Watson until Watson became the primary tight end in the two-minute offense in the final 5-plus minutes. ... Aiken was on for one play and it looked like the Patriots tried to take advantage of his blocking, but a third-quarter pitch left to Maroney never materialized and Maroney lost 4 yards. ... Perhaps thinking that newly acquired TE Michael Matthews (active but did not play) needed more time to absorb the system, the team brought OT Sebastian Vollmer onto the field when they wanted to run three-TE sets, which made either Light or Kaczur eligible. That happened eight times.
(Snaps include two false start penalties and one defensive holding penalty which are not official plays; also includes 2-point conversion attempts which provides a total of 81times that the Patriots lined up from scrimmage)
