Post Your Week 2 Bad Beat Story (1 Viewer)

I was up 15.5 points going into the Sunday Night game. Opponent only has Ben Watson left. Last year Watson only had 3 weeks with 15+ points so I feel that I should be OK. Watson starts off the first quarter with 3 catches for 25 yards and a TD. Geat. He has one catch in 2Q. No catches in 3Q. I am still up by 2.0 points midway through the 4Q, Pats got the game in hand 31-14, rather than run the clock out short pass to Watson, breaks a damn tackle and I end up losing by .4 points! This is not the first time that I have lost by less than a point. TWICE last year I lost by less than a point. The fantasy gods must have cursed me.

This ain't a $50 league that I lost by .4 points, it's in the WCOFF. Unbelievable.

BTW: The worst part of it is I could have started Cooley on MNF over Eric Johnson and still had a chance. Instead I listen to everyone who tells me that NO had the better matchup and Eric Johnson will have a solid day. 4 fn points. Watch, my money is on multiple TDs out of Cooley on MNF.

If Luck wasn't involved, I guess I would win every game.....

Not in a thread like this, which by it's very nature is a ptts thread. Posting a ptts in a thread about losing due to bad luck is about as redundant as it gets. And with as overused as it is in every thread, it truly is more annoying than rate my trade or wdis posts.

I'm in 5 leagues.

Last week I happended to be playing against Gates in 4 and Plaxico in 3.

- Went 2-3 losing the 3 matchups against Plax.

This week I was playing against Steve Smith in 3, Galloway in 3 (one team with JG & SS), and Palmer in 2 (one team with JG & CP).

- Looks like best case is 1-4 with a good chance of 0-5

Next week I'll post who I'm up against in the most leagues so you guys know who to start.

Just all day and all night long.

I lost this week with TO, Roy Williams, Travis Henry, and Willie Parker. That's one heck of a core. But I lost because of Carson Palmer, the Minnesota "D", Kitna (my QB) getting hurt, and Antonio Gates. Yeah nothing like losing to those juggernaut positions of defense and TE.

So give me some . What's good is that I took the year off last year and by week two I'm reminded what Fantasy Football is all about. Now I have some perspective again.

And one more for good measure.

I just knew that Cooley would have a decent game tonight and find the end zone. I am still not over the fact that I lost by .4 points. I am really hating life right now. At least I won 4/5 leagues this week and the one I lost was by .4 and I am still in the hunt in WCOFF with total points.BTW: I don't get the replies with the finger pointing at the shirt. What the FCKK is that supposed to mean? It just seems really stupid to me and not very innovative for someone to post that rather than an actual reply.
