Masked man began shooting in movie theater, suburb of Frankfurt...25 people wounded so far...shooter still loose.

I'm afraid those numbers are going to get a lot worse in the near future. Sounds like they haven't had any chance to actually evaluate what happened inside yet.

I sure hope it's only 25 wounded but how does that even happen? That's incredible luck and almost undoubtedly untrue.

Reddit is usually top notch for info, but, just like shortly after the Orlando massacre, no front page topics on this

here's hoping damage was as minimal as possibly could be

Shout out to people who don't bother to wait to hear any details whatsoever about a shooting incident before attempting to use it to make cheap political points.  You guys are the real MVPs.
Just following the rules of engagement of the 24x7 news cycle.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Because strict gun laws = bad aim
Research when their last "mass" shooting was.

And if true this guy got off all of 4 shots...he either was not armed to get off more (with a weapon with more capacity) or was not intent on inflicting as much damage as he could.  Both are options.

But to use this incident in Germany to say that strict gun control doesn't work is pretty foolish given the facts of this incident and the statistics in Germany.

Just to follow up on this/ it is legal to own a gun in Germany but they have strict gun control laws including universal background checks on all purchases. Their rate of death by gun crimes is 17 times lower than the United States.

Germany is the kind of can-do country where if some nut job wants to buy a gun, but his friends, coworkers, casual acquaintances, gun store owners, and just about everyone else who's ever met the guy call their version of the FBI to report him as potentially dangerous, they actually do something about it rather than take him off the watch lists out of 'political correctness' and rubber stamp his applications.

What is their poverty rate?

The only thing wrong with what you wrote is that in the USA, terrorists and bad guys  are free to buy guns not because of political correctness, but because the NRA is preventing reasonable restrictions.

Amazing how movie theaters still get so much business. I'm not of the mindset that I'm willing to get killed because I'm too proud to stop going and show that I value my life.
