Potential Trade (1 Viewer)

I asked this yesterday with no responses.  I know it's wordy but I appreciate anything anyone has to say about it.

This is predraft.  10 teams 1 ppr league.  Yesterday I traded Jay Ajayi and my number six pick in the draft for Doug Baldwin and the number one pick in the draft.

I've now been offered picks number 8 and 13 for the number one pick in the draft.  Is quantity better than quality?

My team has been last place two years in a row.  My keepers are okay but not great.

My current roster of keepers:  Russell Wilson, Terrance West, Latavius Murray, Doug Baldwin, Jarvis Landry, Willie Snead, and Chris Hogan

Obviously LeVeon Bell would be a huge help to my team.  But would I be smarter to try and get two top 13 picks over Bell?

Top 13 on board according to my Draft Dominator rankings:  LeVeon Bell, Antonio Brown, Devonta Freeman, Mike Evans, Melvin Gordon, AJ Green, Tom Brady, Ezekiel Elliott, LeSean McCoy, Michael Thomas, Amari Cooper, Dez Bryant, Chrstian McCaffrey.  Next two would be Ty Montgomery and Travis Kelce

I will either pick 1 and 15 or I will pick 8, 13, and 15

Thanks to all that read this.  I will happily answer any questions for anybody else if you link me.  I just want a little feedback on this to see if it aligns with my thinking.

Do you have a good idea who other teams will be targeting in those early picks? My worry is that 5 Rbs and Evans/AJ could Be gone by pick 8 and thomas/cooper/dez and a Rb at 13. Baldwin, Landry, Snead and now hogan isn't a terrible wr core but your Rbs are rough.

I think I'd take Bell and then grab best available at 15...especially if your keeper rules would allow you to keep bell after this season.

If I could keep Bell I'd probably take him in a heartbeat.  Our keeper rules are that you can keep anyone drafted in the tenth round or later and keep them for life with no restrictions.  So Bell will not be keeper eligible.

I've run some mocks on the Dominator app and it's like 50/50.  Half the time my team is better one way and the other half it's better the other way.

I think Rodgers and Brady will be gone before number 8 which leaves a couple of those people on the board.  This thought just comes from me knowing the people in my league.  But like anything it's a guess.  They could surprise me.

Your biggest need is at RB I think. Picking 1 and 15 makes sense as you are guaranteed Bell. At the same time you could get quality backs later like Hyde and such but I don't know your other picks. If I was in your position that's what I might be willing to do. Gamble: go for 8, 13. 15. If you think the people in your league are going to draft Rodgers and Brady that's 6 spots and that still guarantees you one of Bell, Freeman, Gordon, McCoy, McCaffrey, Montgomery. And even if they don't draft Rodgers and Brady, I don't see anyone NOT picking Brown in the top 7 picks.  I think it's a somewhat safe assumption you'll  be able to get a RB at 8. So the question boils down to how much you value Bell.

I think I'll go the quantity rote here.

I'd go with picks 1 and 15. Bell is just too valuable to let slide and you'll still end up with another good player at 15, perhaps Dalvin Cook will be there at 15 and he'd be great in that spot since you already have Murray.

Bell isn't worth giving up for the 8 & 13 after everyone has their keepers too.  Keep the pick.
