I have a MacBook Air that I bought in 2015 and I have gone thru the power cable a second time now. (I don't want to hear about how good PCs are and such. I love MacOS based computers and you will not be able to change my mind!) The problem is the cable is a bit fragile at the end where it attaches to the computer; it frays after a while and this is exaggerated when the cable is bent sharply and held at that angle. (I have teens that use it and they don't pay attention to this!)
What have people done/used to keep this from happening? I have seen attachments that you add to the end of the cable to assist, but I don't see how these help. Do they make it harder for the cable to bend sharply?
Anyone have any thoughts? TIA!
