Apparently Thursday's 6.4 earthquake was just a precursor to the 7.3 earthquake which shock Kumamoto on Saturday morning. More than 40 people killed and over 1500 people injuried by the series of earthquakes, and major property damage including serious damage to the 400 year old Kumamoto Castle. Model estimates for the damage in the range of $10 billion. The search continues for survivors.
