PPR leagues (1 Viewer)

I started a redraft league this year, been playing in dynasty for the past 9 years. I wanted to make it as different as possible so I made it a PPR league(1 PT). I noticed it makes some average WRs studs and the stud WRs just as valuable as RBs and QBs if not more valuable. If also turns some TEs into studs. Do you like PPR? Not sure if I like it or not.

here are some FF PTs for WRs the first 2 weeks?

week 1

Burress 40PT

Moss 33 PTs

Curry 29 PTs

Week 2

Edwards 34 PTs

CJ 43 PTs

Moss 30 PTs

AJ 31 PTs

TO 20 PTs

Winslow 22 PTs

My 11 year redraft league went PPR this season, and it certainly changes the WR value. The game scores are significantly higher as well, which tends to ease back on the single player blowing up being an automatic victory now. Teams still have a chance to win and the games are closer in competition. I personally like it, but it defintely is a different animal.

If you want to better understand PPR you're probably better off looking at seasons of data instead of two weeks.

I like PPR. IMO it better reflects value of a player to the game. Its an opinion. Others will have differing opinions. There's really no right or wrong scoring system. Once you think you understand your scoring system its just a matter of taking advantage of it.

I only play in one league, and it's always been a PPR, so I really can't compare the two.

I like it, but I think the amount per catch, per position should be weighted a bit different than a straight 1 ppr across the board. I'm not a fan of a RB catching a dump off for a yard and getting 1.1 points, when a RB rushing the ball can have a ten yard run and only get 1 point. Seem to me, a run for ten yards is better.

That's my opinion
