Hey,

We are a 10 team redraft league and half PPR. We Start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1dt and 1flex. My serpentine draft is coming up soon and I was offered the following. I pick 9th and this person picks 4th. He offered the following:

I get his number 4th in the 1st round and I keep my 9th pick. He gets my 2nd round pick (12). Then he gets my 4th round pick. We swap 6th round picks. Swap 8th round picks and he gives me his 9th round pick.

I haven't mapped anything out yet and don't know how to analyze it properly. I don't think going from 12th to 4th is that much of an upgrade this year so I'm kind of hesitant. Although I could probably get the best RB and a great WR with those picks.

Any thoughts or tools that could help? Any counter offer I should make?

So it boils down to you give 2.12, a 4th round, and you get 1.4 and a 9th rounder. The pick swaps don't add that much (imo) although moving up a few spots in the 6th and 8th is prob nice. I think you could argue that this is pretty fair. I'd be willing to do it.

Yea good points. Because I lose my 4th round pick and me originally picking 9th and 12th for myself is almost the same as me picking 4th and 9th, so I'm not sold on this trade yet. The first round is so deep that it creeps into the second round.

Essentially you move from 2.02 to 1.04 for swapping a 4th rounder for a 9th rounder. I do it if there is someone you want in the top 4. If you don't have a preference then I probably stand pat. It's easy to accept if you have an early target.

I do it, but I think there’s a clear top 8 to the draft.
