Of course, the Eagles probably end up winning since they only need a field goal at the end of the game. The game wasn't won because of some dominant performance from the Packers offense, where they put up 309 total yards (less than 24 of 32 teams averaged on the season), were actually outgained in total yards by about 50 and put up 21 total points. You do realize that the game plays out completely differently if Akers makes either of those kicks, right? Sure, Akers blew six points for them, but James Jones also blew an easy seven for GB by dropping that bomb at the end of the 2nd quarter, so it goes both ways. The Packers won by a narrow margin thanks to the opposing kicker not making routine kicks. The Eagles win had little to do with the Eagles being unable to contain the Packers offense, to the tune of 21 whole points.
