Predict one Draft Day 1st round pick trade (1 Viewer)

Washington moves up to #3 (KC) to make sure they get Sanchez......

Snyder and company have already shown with the Cutler ordeal that they are not happy with Campbell as their man.....I think they want Sanchez in a bad way and moving up to #3 makes sure they get him.....

Rams take Sanchez at 2, and then use him to get an extra day one pick from Washington who will have traded Campbell to get to number 3.

Browns trade 5 and Edwards! (Praying they get rid of Edwards)
So they get rid of Edwards AND lose out on their shot of getting Crabtree?
We don't want Crabtree either. We are done with this me first attitude type of losers and Crabbie unfortunatly showed to much of it on his visit! It's team first around here and if you put yourself above the team out that door you go! We may suffer another year or two but the ship will be righted!

Colts trade out of the 1st round when their guys are gone (Ziggy Hood, Donald Brown (used to be LeSean McCoy), Harvin, Nicks, and Robiskie.

ETA: Scratch Harvin. What the hell was I thinking. The Colts never choose bad character guys like Harvin on purpose.

KC trades 1.03, Dorsey to Jacksonville for 1.08, 3.08, 2010 1st.
:goodposting: That basically puts Dorsey's worth at a fourth- or fifth-round pick. I'm gonna say ... no. Besides, who does Jacksonville -- desperate to trade DOWN -- want at No. 3 overall?I'll say Buffalo trades up to No. 6 and takes an OT.

Too many holes in this one...How will the Redskins have traded Campbell to get to the Chiefs #3 spot? Why would the Skins pull the trigger on pick #3 before the Rams make their pick possibly stealing their target?

I'll play off the Peter King/NE rumor

GB trades #9 to NE for #23 and #34.

Thompson then trades #23 for a later first and 2nd. He then trades that Later 1st for a 2nd, 3rd and 5th. By the time he's done trading the Packers have no Day 1 picks, but have 25 day 2 picks including 10 in the 3rd round.

An NFL Films camera man gets a shot of Thompson running around the warroom in his boxers, with his shirt tied to his head like a bandanna and twirly his pants in the air like a lasso while making Ric Flair "Whooo!" sounds.

True...so...maybe Rams take Sanchez and trade for 13 and Campbell.

But then the Rams are stuck with Campbell. Don't see that as being a huge bonus for the Rams to move that far down.

Redskins trade up to #3 to get Mark Sanchez. :bag:
I just don't think the Redskins have enough of what either the Rams or Chiefs are looking for to get up to those picks. Campbell is the biggest piece of that puzzle and the Rams and Chiefs aren't really in need of him enough to drop 10 spots.I predict a lot of action for Sanchez will start taking place around the #4 pick after Stafford, Curry and top O-lineman is gone.

Oher could be there at 13, and I think the Rams would be happy with him. It all depends on what else is in the deal.I think 13 is the floor. I think there is potential that Seattle or San Fran may also look to grab #2.

I disagree. I am a Bears fan but I live in KC and I absolutely think the Chiefs would be up for trading with the Skins to get more picks. I don't think it is at all unreasonable, especially given Pioli history. The Chiefs certainly do not want Campbell, they want more picks.

It's so hard to trade out of a top-5 pick, but gun to my head, I'd guess KC moves their pick to somebody moving up for Sanchez. Washington or Denver would be the best bets, IMO.

Then again, Denver may be just fine sitting where they are & the Skins might not have enough ammo (without including Campbell, who KC won't be interested in).

I have a real hard time thinking Denver and KC would trade with each other, especially if Denver would be trading itself into a top-3 contract.

The Bears move up in the second round to get one of the better receivers available (I don't think any of the top-tier WRs will be available by the time they pick in the 2nd).

I would completely agree with you normally. But given that the Broncos and Chiefs each have someone in a power position that was just at New England last year, anything may be possible that would not have been before. It seems very unlikely (which is why I think the Chiefs trade with the Skins) but certainly not as out of the realm of possibility as it might have once been.

Not sure who, but the Eagles will trade the 1.21 for a 09 2nd and 10 1st. This team will be jumping the Vikings to snag either Eben Britton or William Beatty, thus ending the 1st round OT's.

A replay of last year, essentially. Is Reid gonna do this in perpetuity? Eagles trade 1.21 and next year's 4th to Chargers to move up to 1.16 and take the DE that DH says they covet, whoever that is.

I find it hard to believe Phi takes a RB in the first. Reid has NEVER taken a RB in the first. Who else is a possibility? Pettingrew? Maybe. All along I thought this pick was perfect for the OT that fell. Now that we dont need one, it makes the most sense to trade the pick. While I think it will be as noted above, it could also be in some sort of trade for Peppers, Boldin, Edwards, CJ, etc. I just dont see us taking a need here.

I make that deal every year I can.

I will hedge a bit more than you. Seattle trades out of the 4 to let a team take Sanchez. Not exactly sure which team though....

There have been no trades into the top 5 for the last 4 or 5 years. And this years draft is week at the top compared to those. It just ain't gonna happen.

Can't pick just one, so I'll pick just 1 team...

Colts either move up to 18-20 range to get Moreno

or

move out of the first for an extra pick and take Harvin at the top of the 2nd rd.

We don't want Crabtree either. We are done with this me first attitude type of losers and Crabbie unfortunatly showed to much of it on his visit! It's team first around here and if you put yourself above the team out that door you go! We may suffer another year or two but the ship will be righted!
Also, the Browns are in rebuild mode and need a lot more help than a high-priced WR early in the draft. Trade down, pick up some picks and get a WR or two later.

I don't think Washington has to move up that much. I think Washington moves up to #8 and grabs Sanchez. They then get to deal with cry baby Campbell, who will be miffed that they just drafted his replacement...

I don't want Crabtree, but I do want Edwards unless we get true compensation. The 2nd and 5th I'm hearing about is a flat out joke. Unless we get a 1st, 3rd, and another player, I don't want to do it. Edwards is a proven WR that had a bad year last year. Receivers usually take up to 3 years to get into the flow of the NFL game, so why would we trade a WR we have that has proven he can be an all-pro and has his 3+ years of experience for anything less than we drafted him at?We need Defense, Curry would be nice.

If Anquan Boldin is being shopped for a 2nd plus "considerations",no way on God's green earth does Braylon go for a 1st, 3rd, plus a player.no effing way.
