Just a hunch here, but it appears to me that Bill Belichick tries to disprove every pundit out there when it comes to the Patriots.

You say they can't have a dominant WR, wrong.

You say that Brady isn't as good or better than Manning, wrong.

You say their defense isn't top notch, watch and see.

I'm guessing the Dolphins for less than 200 yards of offense and no TDs this week.

GL Ronnie Brown owners. :headbang:

Why the Cowboys chose to poke the bear with a stick after seeing how the responded to preseason attacks is beyond me.... Let's put another chip on that shoulder.... brilliant :excited:

I agree.

what I like about the pats is that they don't need all these bull#### 'motivations' --- their motivation is to win.

that said, they are much better than the dolphins, and if anything, the players will remember that game last year, so expect another in a long string of beatings.

If they don't Belichick will choke them to death by forcing humble pie down their throats.

I'm hoping the Dolphins play the Patriots game.

Taylor should do an elbow into Brady's knee.

Porter should wait for a kneel down and roll up on a couple of linemen's knees and attempt to take out Brady.

Clip.

Take some HGH before the game.

And everytime you make a first down or end a play on the sideline near the Pats...throw the ball at Belicheck's head. Each time...everytime...and flip him off afterwards. Doesn't even matter about the end result.

Yep, they were planning on giving up 21 to the Dolphins until Crayton ran his mouth. Now it'll be zippo for Cam Cameron and crew.

IMO, the Pats could care less what Crayton and the Cowboys are saying and NE will play the same way as they always do.
 My thoughts exactly....Crayton and the Cowboys are in the Pats' rear-view mirror as far at they are concerned.I'd say they'd have enough motivation trying to avenge the 21-0 whoopin' the Dolphins put on them last time they went down to South Florida.

Typical Pats hater....nothing to see here....please move on.

Hater? how so...just admiring the methods that Pats do to win at all costs and I hope other teams bring the same level of play against them every week. You should be proud.

Shutting out the Dolphins? That's unheard of this year, they have so many options on offense. Just like the Jets I think their best play is returning klickoffs.

Exactly, it will have no effect on what NE does in this game. I actually think NE will win but won't have this fantastic game because of the letdown factor.I'm not going to call it a trap game because Miami's just not good enough to win, but in regards to the point spread, it's a very dangerous bet this week to take NE.

I predict that the Dolphins will also look to keep the Patriots from scoring.

They won't be very successful, but they'll try . . .

Whatever.....any thing the Pats do is criticized and picked apart since they are the top dogs. You really think they are out there intentionally trying to injure opposing players? Anyways, not trying to hi-jack the thread....just out of curiousity......who's your team?

Is everyone so blinded to the fact that Belichick tries to disprove the commonthink in the NFL?

Is it coincidence that Brady is well above pace to breat the all-time TD mark now that he has Moss?

Can't you see that in the past, Belichick not only wanted to beat the Colts, but wanted to shut down Manning. When most were saying Manning and the Colts couldn't be stopped?

Say what you will, and the silly comments are just that, silly.

I'm just trying to point out what I see as a trend.

Back to your regularly scheduled bashing of anything non-Patriots.

doesn't every team try to shut out every other team?
You can't see a difference in preparing for Dallas versus Miami. Especially after all the chatter coming out of Crayton's mouth. You can't see an "F" you mentality in the mindset of Belichick? He shows it over and over again. That's all I'm saying here.

Panthers....and I don't see how that has anything do with anything. Wilfork's move on Losman was intentional. You can debate the Vrabel manuever however you want. I'd almost bet you that with respect to NFL fines...the Pats are up there in the lead. You gonna simply rag on the NFL as being haters? Don't get upset with me when I'm suggesting other teams should play how the Pats play. Any outrage you show is an open admission to thinking those acts are dirty.

Crayton is a "pundit" now?

I guess that's a step up from yesterday when he was just a mouthy #######.

yeah, weren't you the dude in that dallas thread saying that the pats +5 was a bad bet?

Typical Pats homer that can't swallow Belichick's #### fast enough....nothing to see here....please move on.

I think NE looks to shut out the Dolphins in response to the 21-0 loss in Miami last year, not to what Patrick Crayton said.

I think Patrick Crayton has about as much influence over this team's motivation as any of us. Atleast at this point, now that that game's over. Now, if they were playing Dallas next week, it would mean something. But I think they'll drop the hammer on Miami something along the lines of 31-7 fueled simply by the fact that they lost 21-0 last year. That loss may very well have kept them out of the SB. Had they won that game, that AFCC game would have been in NE instead of Indy. Its gonna be a long, hard day for all Dolphins and their fans.

Maybe i'm delusional...but I'd definitely take Miami and the points...even with the dismantling or whatever is going on... Cleo runs for one Ronnie keeps Brady off field and Ginn gets his first.

Something about the tropical weather that those pasty pats just can't stomach... :fro:
