First, I just want to say I think 99% of the info on this site is absolutely great -- and I couldn't live without it! However, the reason I write this is because I think the weekly cheatsheets have some definite room for improvement.
I think the problem is that they are currently putting way too much emphasis on the opponent, as opposed how a player/team is performing. One of the lessons I have learned over the years is you don't bench your studs for a mediocre player just because of the match up.
Looking at the QB's, Favre and Roeth look way underated to me again. In my league, they are currently ranked as the #6 and #7 QB's YTD. So how are they ranked 12th, and 18th? (With Roeth at 18th the being the bigger mistake). I also feel Derek Anderson is ranked too low as well.
I feel they both should be rated higher than following: Cutler, Palmer, Rivers, McNabb, and Kitna. Roeth should also be higher than Garcia, Huard, Culpepper, Campbell, and Losman. Some of those are close but that's how I have them rated.
Some other things I noticed at first glance:
Ahman Green should not be in the top 30 at RB.
Lee Evans is not the #7 receiver, no matter who he is playing next week. He is far from proving he is back.
Again, I'm not trying to rip the site, and hope this is viewed as constructuve criticism. I very well could be wrong, but just wanted to point out what appears (to me) an area that I think has room for improvement, and I think the solution is to put a little less weight into the opponent (that should be a factor, just not as big as it is currently being made out to be), and more emphasis back into the how the player and team are performing.
