PRESEASON Deep, Deep, Dynasty leagues 350+ rostered players (1 Viewer)

Preseason is always a chance to watch the back end of the roster guys fight for a roster spot.  My apologies, I remember seeing a thread last year about deep dynasty league talk.  I couldn't find it with the search.  What back end guys are you stashing on your roster's this year?  I'm in a 12 team, non-IDP league where every team has 53 players, and up to 16 practice squad guys.

Who are we stashing?  Anyone keeping any of these guys?  Who are you keeping your eye on for preseason?

Some I'm watching and others I've lost track on where they are:

QB - Landry Jones

RB - John Crockett,  Michael Dyer, Jahwan Edwards, Corey Grant, Terrance Magee, Senorise Perry, Matthew Tucker, George Winn, Glenn Winston, Dreamius Smith

WR - Nick Toon, Jeremy Butler, Cameron Meredith, Dres Anderson, Duron Carter, Vince Mayle, Tre McBride, Joseph Morgan, La'Damian Washington,

TE - Jeff Heurerman

Mike Glennon, Ahmad Bradshaw, Trent Richardson, Quincy Enunwa, Dezmin Lewis

Enunwa might get rostered in smaller leagues but only as a late flier, in large leagues he could be a good find IMO.

RB: Darius Jackson (DAL), DJ Foster (NE)
WR: Devon Cajuste (SF), Devin Lucien (NE), Rashard Higgins (CLE), Daniel Braverman (CHI), Tre Mcbride (TEN)
TE: Blake Bell (SF), Jeff Heuerman (DEN)

Mostly rookies or 2nd years, a lot of them probably rostered but some may not be.

I'm having a tough time with guys like Tre McBride and Justin Hunter, David Cobb (TEN players not intended), when they are that far down the chart.

Looking at depth charts around the league looking for 3rd/4th(WR's) stringers that are young with a situation to excel quickly if he gets a chance to play....

QB - Dak Prescott(DAL): I just don't trust Romo staying healthy, and we know Moore is not leading any team to the playoffs so Prescott could get in. There are receiving weapons, a strong OL, and now a RB to lean on and take the focus of the defense off of him.

RB - Mike Davis(SF): Chip runs a TON of plays and who knows if Hyde(lighter no less) can hold up to that type of punishment. I really liked Davis coming out of college and don't consider Draughn much of an impediment to playing time. SF improved their run blocking in the draft.

WR - Mike Thomas(LA): He might be the best pure WR on the roster and Goff doesn't have chemistry with any of them yet. Absolute steal in the draft. Austin gets half his production on runs and hasn't broken 500 yards. Britt can never quite seem to make that jump to a 1k receiver even when there is no competition. People have been waiting on Quick for a long time now based on a few game stretch two years ago before a major injury he has never bounced back from.

WR - Jordan Payton(CLE): More athletic than a lot of people realize, but was still probably a pick made by the coaches/scouts more so than the number crunchers. Coleman already off to a wobbly start with the team due to conditioning and while he has all the athleticism in the world I need to see a second Steve Smith at the NFL before I anoint him. Plenty of folks have said he needs to learn more sophisticated routes in the NFL and how to go hard on every snap.... big transition from Baylor. Hartline and Hawkins..... meh, if the new regime valued them at all would they have drafted all those WR's??? Not even counting Gordon up in a puff of smoke.

TE - Jerell Adams(NYG): Was Tye that good, or was that production based more on opportunity than talent? I know a lot of folks are higher on Tye than myself but imo Adams has the most raw talent at TE on the roster and almost anyone put on this team is going to produce with Beckham/Shepard drawing coverage and the NYG passing a ton. What a steal in the 6th round. I feel bad about Donnell breaking a bone in his neck and all but TE's get so much contact serious neck injuries have to be worrisome. I lean toward thinking Cruz/Donnell have to show me they are the same old guy before I'll believe it.

Assuming waiver wire players and players who won't usually get picked in a 5 round rookie draft

QB: Zak Prescott DAL, Garrett Grayson NO, Ryan Nassib NYG

RB: Terrell Watson CLE, John Crockett GB, Brandon Wilds ATL, Trey Williams IND, Marshaun Coprich NYG, Malcolm Brown LA, Zac Brooks SEA

WR: Tyrell Williams SD, Marquez North LA, Charone Peake NYJ, Eric Rogers SF, Kenny Lawler SEA

TE: Eric Swoope IND, Niles Paul WAS, Cameron Brate TB, Tyler Kroft CIN, Seth DeValve CLE, Thomas Duarte MIA, Rico Gathers DAL

Jevontee Herndon

Chris Mathews

Denarious Moore

Mike Campanaro

Clay Harbor

CJ Uzomah

I feel like JJ Nelson and Rashad Greene are rostered in this format, but ima add them to the list also

Chris Mathews
Is this one Chris Matthews of the Ravens?

I almost went with Chris Moore because Smith is so old and that is a MAJOR injury, Perriman was over-drafted according to a lot of people at the time and the ongoing injury mystery doesn't help, will Mike Wallace ever bounce back(last chance imo). Moore has a shot to take over the Torrey Smith role sooner than later if he just stays healthy(passing Smith/Perriman) and keeps his mouth shut(passing Wallace) maybe as soon as the end of this season.

It is. He is a long shot. He is a big guy, and they just waived Marlon brown who is another huge wr, so I assume mathews could find his way to the field in a possibly expanded role that he left behind. Brown in his rookie year lead the ravens in TDs, and I think theyre trying to find that offense again. Theyve brought in a million TE and moved Waller (another big wr) to TE, so I think there is a small shot at him seeing some action. Especially with smith coming off that injury, and wallace being a one trick pony.

its a mess right now, just have to wait and see how it shakes out. Aiken is a lock, so are smith, wallace and perriman. The rookie is as well. He will have to earn it, thats for sure. But in the right situation I think he is more than a RZ guy. He is also another possible guy that could see time at TE 6'4'' 250 size, so in TE premium leagues or a league where you can take a flier on someone and are in need of TE. He and Waller both have big upside.

RB- Marshaun Coprich

WR- Tyrell Williams, Devin Lucien, Marquez North

TE- Matt Lacosse, Darren Waller

Ended up drafting all three of these:  Thomas  (54th) Payton (59th) Adams (65th)
