Preseason Watch List - St. Louis Rams (1 Viewer)

Bradford still looks like a qb deserving of his #1 pick of the draft status...dozens of great throws, short, medium and long, in tiny windows.

give a couple; quick read to the left and finds nothing so turns to his right and hits a wide open Kent in stride 40yds down the field for a td.

goalline drill Bradford comes back with a rollout to his right and after 2 quick reads and nothing finds Fells all alone in middle of end zone for a td.

another pass Bradford goes through a quick progression looking for somone open and throws it again to Fells who's blanketed but throws the ball to his backleg and low so Fells ends up with an easy catch

another pass no one open and Bradford throws it to McRae who's totally covered at time of pass but breaks open between two defenders just as ball arrives..maybe a 6 inch window

Bradford gives small fake and throws a jump, arcing ball with perfect touch to send another wr on to a td...Bradford is faster in is progressions then Feeley with pinpoint accuracy..he don't suck

Love Bradford's talent. Hate that he got hurt twice and the second injury was a hit I've seen every NFL qb take over and over again. I think Bradford has trouble playing 16 games this season. AJ Feeley will saddle up at least a few times after Bradford gains that top spot on the depth chart.

But boy is he going to be fun to watch when he's in there.

He really didn't get hurt twice, he landed on a shoulder that wasn't fully healed. Hopefully they teach him how to land correctly and protect that shoulder. The Doc's have said that his shoulder is fully healed and is no different than anybody else's right now.

I'm still skeptical. I hope you are right, he seems like a great kid.

He may indeed be the real deal but come reg season , with that O line and list of pass catchers, he'll for sure be spending plenty of time on his back. Best case. Let's hope it's not his shoulder agian. The team is seasons away from being competitive. I see absolutley no benefit in rushing him along. It's a shame he's not sitting this season out, tbh.

I think this kid has the mental resolve to take what he gets this season. For a player like Bradford, I think the positive experience of playing and the possibility of going 2-14 and getting hit outweigh the benefit of watching Feely as the starter.
