In dynasty, I've received a few low level offers for him in the likely late 2nd round range. He's worth more to my team this season than that.
In redraft, I recently traded him and Golden Tate for Eric Decker. I had solid RB depth and needed a good WR.
Agree that Moreno is worth more to his owners than anyone else.Everyone assumes that Moreno is keeping the seat warm for someone else. Pretty sure that's not Hillman and there is no guarantee that it will be Ball. 2nd round picks were not locks for anything in the previous CBA. Now even less. Moreno could see a few year run here with Denver. Once Peyton hangs them up, anything goes, but Moreno may ride this thing until he does.
Lol what?Just got traded in our 12 team keeper league: Moreno & Locker for Aaron Rodgers & Mike Williams.
ummm...in what world would somebody trade aaron rodgers and mike williams away for moreno and locker in a dynasty format? I don't believe in the veto of trades--but a trade like this might change my mind.Just got traded in our 12 team keeper league: Moreno & Locker for Aaron Rodgers & Mike Williams.
Are you above a Moreno discussion?I was beginning to wonder when a thread would pop up about Moreno's trade value.

Interesting.I offered Fitz for him in my 4 player keeper and got shot down
As far as trade value goes, I think you did pretty great. Owners are hesitant trade based on his production value, so a bottom of the top 10 WR is a pretty decent return.I got Cobb for him in a league where I'm in bad shape at WR. Nobody with the big receivers would trade with me as they are generally not trade friendly owners. One minute I feel good about the deal and another I feel like I got ripped off. Moreno is tough to figure out for me.
No. Not at all. It's just that there's been a thread about this topic for several weeks now:Are you above a Moreno discussion?I was beginning to wonder when a thread would pop up about Moreno's trade value.

This seems steep, no?He was traded in my PPR dynasty league for DeAndre Hopkins.
Dude... you might have a RB1 on your hands in Moreno. At this moment he is significantly more valuable than Fitz.Interesting.I offered Fitz for him in my 4 player keeper and got shot down
I own Moreno in a handful of redrafts and think I'd be pretty excited to get Fitz for him.
Moreno has been awesome for me in several leagues, but he's a sell high and Fitz is a buy low. I'd be all over that trade if someone offered me Fitz.CariocaSean said:Dude... you might have a RB1 on your hands in Moreno. In redraft OR dynasty, I really like a Moreno/Wayne trade as a win/win for both sides. I think any players like that or Hilton, Stevie Johnson, all those mid-range steady guys with some flash appeal are pretty much the WR equivalent to Moreno.TheCommish said:Traded Moreno and Krapernick for Wayne and RG3. He's getting more than 10 touches per game, and he's producing:Moreno has peaked. He is only getting around 10 carries per game. Can't be expected to continue to do so much with little touches and also should be injured within the next two weeks based upon on his injury track record.
I sold him last week for two young WRs in a keeper league; really wish I would have waited a week as his value basically doubled with his performance against the defensive-deficient Cowgirls.
Btw, the young WRs I got back were Denarius Moore and Corderelle Patterson (we count return yardage). I had a bunch of RBs, one of which was unfortunately Davis Wilson, and needed WRs.
He's got a club option for next year and then he's unrestricted for 2015. I wouldn't be that confident in him being the starter next year, but I would still pass on that trade. A bird in the hand... 2nd and 3rd round picks are longshots. One year of RB1 production is much better than two lottery tickets.I was offered a 2nd and 3rd for him in a deep dynasty. I felt like this guy could have a few year run there and passed. I don't see Hillman as a threat and Ball is a second round pick who hasn't shown much. 2nd round picks weren't guaranteed anything under the old CBA. Even less in the new. I feel Moreno will be there as long as Peyton is there. So this could be a 2-4 year run...
I think it's a pretty spendy option too, but he could always renegotiate. The Broncos could go on a magical run beyond just this year. The allure of playing with Manning for a few years and possibly win a couple rings could get him to sign a cap friendly contract. He's got a club option for next year and then he's unrestricted for 2015. You've got the same take as I do in that there are variables. This isn't your typical offense or running game and the coach has an itchy trigger finger on playing time. I'm also banking on KC eventually losing a couple of games and making locking up home field inevitable during the playoffs. I've lost too many leagues due to those playoff decisions and am trying to avoid it this season as long as I get a good return on the value. As far as trade value goes, I think you did pretty great. Owners are hesitant trade based on his production value, so a bottom of the top 10 WR is a pretty decent return.I got Cobb for him in a league where I'm in bad shape at WR. I have been targetting him in trades that last couple weeks, trying to get a big discount based on his reputation, and haven't found much out there. Offered Sproles and Blackmon for Moreno and Nicks and got denied.
I can't bring myself to offer 90 cents on the dollar for him. I don't doubt the potential in the offense, but an injury seems inevitable to me. If not one that takes him out of the lineup, at least one that will encourage them to open up the split again.
Wow man that is a great deal. Is the owner in contention for playoffs?Dynasty offered Maclin for Moreno straight. No dice.
This is the only reason I opened this thread. Fortuitous misspelling. Fingers crossed his new board nickname becomes Isle Moreno and just confounds people for years. Is this a play on the whole Revis Island theme?
Isle instead of Aisle...

Re-draft. Made a lot of sense for both teams, and I like RG3 the rest of the way, too.In redraft OR dynasty, I really like a Moreno/Wayne trade as a win/win for both sides. Pat yourself on the back big guy.
Denver can't really afford to lock Moreno up long term. Orlando Franklin, Wesley Woodyard, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker, Chris Harris, Robert Ayers, Von Miller, and several others all have contracts expiring within the next two seasons (although in Miller's case, there's a team option for 2015 that will certainly be exercised).Everyone assumes that Moreno is keeping the seat warm for someone else. Pretty sure that's not Hillman and there is no guarantee that it will be Ball. 2nd round picks were not locks for anything in the previous CBA. Now even less.
