Doesn't the season start on the 4th?

What are we talking here?

Knowing you, I'd be willing to work on a contingency basis :coffee: Maybe something like a percentage of league winnings

Anyone have any thoughts on the draft given the scoring listed above?
Hitters look more valuable. Draft hitting early. Look to get guys like Nolasco, Kershaw, maybe Gallardo starting in round 5 or 6You want high strikeout guys but you cant afford to let the hitters pass you by early. Power will give you more points then speed

In a 10 team league, those pitchers should not be picked until about rounds 9-10Is there a min innings pitched per week limit? It looks to me like you could roster all relievers and at least split the pitching categories each week, and with a little luck, win. Need way more information than was posted.

Yo, what's up, Chet. Here's my thoughts. If you have the #1 pick, you take Pujols. If you have any other pick, you hope that Lincecum or Halladay fall to you. Scoring is a little bit funny in a weekly H2H league; some pitchers get disproportionately valuable because they're "2 start pitchers" that week so have the chance to accrue double stats, but that said, given your scoring system, and assuming that when you say that TB equals 1 means that you get 1 point for every Total Base that you get, under an average of the leading projections, Pujols should score 687 points. The next highest scoring hitter is Matt Holliday who should score 50 point less. And then there's 9 other guys who will score within 50 points of him. And then you go another 36 picks in hitters to lose the next 50 points. For pitchers, Lincecum should score 590. Halladay should score 562. Haren should score 536. And then by the time that you've gone 9 pitchers in from him, you've lost another 90 projected points. After another 15 picks, you've lose another 50 points. So by the 30th best pitcher, you're 300 points off of Lincecum. To lose 300 points off of Pujols, you need to go down to hitter #164 at Ianetta. But the point is, the drop off in pitching points is steep. So here's the deal I'll offer you. I'll draft your team for free. I'll crosscheck who I think is good value with Ron Shandler's Forecaster. If, at the end of the season, you feel that the draft went well for you, you can tip me appropriately. If you feel like you ended up with a team of dogs, you will have gotten what you had paid for.PM me if interested.Matthias
